My wife says that she likes that this handbook detailed how to use this book and she likes that it covered all she needed to know and master on nurse's daily dealings with drugs and how to avoid common drug errors. She says that her favorite thing about this handbook is the drug monographs; detailed and well explained pertinent and specific information on drug actions, safe medications administrations, how to monitor potential interactions and adverse effects, implement care measures, patient education, drugs classifications and the she says she really like the all important “ Black Box Warning” safety alert for each medication. My wife says another thing she likes about this handbook is the online toolkit that comes with the book concerning up to date information on doing charts, dosage calculator, drug safety and administration videos, audio drug pronunciation guide, drug therapy guidelines and patient populations. She says her favorite thing she likes was the online access that provides critical information on monthly FDA drug updates and drug warnings. She says that this handbook is a great companion whether you are a nursing student, a newbie nurse or veteran nurse. I would recommend it.

Know anyone's meds. Easy to use.
Everyone should have one of these if you take any meds, or have meds for kids. You can always identify any meds you may find. What is that med you found in your kids bedroom? Or on the floor anywhere?

We bought this 40th Anniversary Edition Nursing 2020 Drug Handbook for my wife’s nursing program and the book was delivered in tact and all the the pages were clear and as described. Beautiful Drug Book
Love the book. I ordered on for me and one for my daughter. She is taking a Pharmacy Tech course and the reference book is a perfect reference to have handy when she has questions about the drugs and drugs classifications she is studying. The copy that I bought is useful when I am given a prescription from the physician so I can look up the action and side effects. Thank you for offering the reference on Amazon.

Best drug book
This is my favorite brand of book for drugs. I’ve tried other ones but finally realized this is the best. The way the information is set up, the explanation of use etc. makes it easy to read and understand. Sometimes there is better information here than what you get with your prescription.

I love this book. It is easy to find the information I need when I need it. I has more drugs than I expected and the information is very thorough.

Love the book. HATE the app
I bought the hard copy. It works great, I love it. Nicely organized, detailed and has just about everything I need to look up. But... It advertises an app as an acessory tool for weekly updates and what have you, but the app costs almost as much as the book. And the app layout is basic and looks like it was just slapped together. Buy the book, avoid the app.

excellent resourse
In addition to using this book for meds, it had numerous tables in the back that were very helpful, like lab values. While there were some meds not included, the overwhelming majority were readily available with very pertinent and useful information for me to learn from and consider.

Like to update this handbook
I am a retired nurse. You can't keep up with new medications hitting the market. I but a new nursing handbook every couple years. I no longer was receiving the order forms to get it. Checked Amazon and there it was. Thank you for helping me keep updated on what's new. Once a nurse, always a nurse.
