Finding an umbrella that can handle our wind especially the micro bursts was not easy. We had to replace our old umbrella as the wind picked it up out of the weight and collided with our house breaking it. The weight pin came loose but it was time to finally get an umbrella with a decent top vent.I did a lot of research and this was the only umbrella I could find that had a sizable gap to vent the wind. We've been using this for a few days now including a very windy day with no issues! We love being on our deck but with sun on it almost the entire day we needed some shade.We've been through 3 different types of umbrellas and this one hands down has been the best. It's very sturdy! I love the color as well, used it as inspiration to change up our deck color scheme.7/15/2022 UPDATE- This Umbrella is still going strong! We absolutely love it and can't say enough great things about it. We've had zero wind issues with this umbrella, it's held up against strong winds!

Aadded this umbrella to our patio table and it is holding up nicely this summer. Doe not seem to be too sensitive to mild wind conditions in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It is in a very sunny area so I do not expect it to last more two summers. However, so far it looks good and is holding up without any problems.I would buy it again when this one wears out.

This umbrella looks nice but did not hold up more than one season.I bought it exactly one year ago, at the end of June. When it arrived the crank cover was cracked.The packaging was not very good. It was in a box without any kind of protection around it.I contacted the company and they were very nice and sent me a new frame. Unfortunately the new frame was damaged too. I didn't have the energy to complain again, so I just lived with the broken frame.At the beginning of this month I brought the umbrella out again from my garage. It's been up less than a month now, and it already shows fade lines from being folded down when not in use. Today I tried to put it up, but it didn't work because the cord was broken. It is completely worn out. Do not buy this umbrella unless you just want it for one summer.

Love these pagoda umbrellas. I ordered two. It did take three attemps to get ones that were not broken or missing parts, but the company stands by their free return policy and took them back and/or exchanged them very fast. I purchased them to replace an old weathered one from Pier 1, and these are the same size. Plus they are lighter in weight, and the had crank makes them much easier to open and close. Good quality. Fantastic price.

I bought 2 of these, then bought 2 more for use around my business. They are absolutely stunning and the blue color is super eye catching to potential customers passing by. The umbrellas are very sturdy with a solid metal frame. Company was extremely responsive and quickly replaced a missing top cap.

I order a pair of these umbrellas in May 2021. By the end of summer, they had faded terribly. I stored them in the garage for the fall and winter, then returned them to the patio in late spring 2022. In August 2022, they were hauled curbside for the trash collector to take away. By that time, they looked far worse for wear. The style is beautiful, however, these really aren’t worth the money to get only a year’s worth of use from them.

We bought two of these umbrellas after reading they were weather resistant. We live in the Southern California desert and it can get fairly windy. So far, the umbrellas seem to tolerate the wind well, and only when it gets really gusty do we need to crank them down. However, because of all the steel ribbing needed to support the three layers, they are VERY top heavy. We have solid bases, but still needed to add a couple of concrete blocks to the base to keep them from tipping over. We'll see how they last in our desert sun...
