I ditched the springs and the mounting bracket and made my own ridgid mounting plate. It does the job. But its no more comfortable than just sitting on the steel. I do like the design of the material tho. For the price I paid I'm happy with it. I wish it was wider

Great quality only flaw is the seat is very uncomfortable after a long ride but what can i say you sacrifice functionality for looks which the seat looks great

I bought this seat for my Indian Scout Bobber.The springs will scratch your fender, if you can figure out how to install them.The frame has no way to connect the springs, I almost drilled attachment holes, but didn't.I finally gave up and ordered the Ends Cuoio ( $ 300 with shipping ).It comes with a base plate that covers the wires, looks and works great.You will need to order a springer seat, there are plenty on Amazon for lees than $ 80.I kept this springer seat, but my initial feeling is I won't use it for long. it's not comfy for a day's ride.

A well built seat. Was not too hard to fit to my 1989 Sportster but I had to rig a brace over the fender to get shock absorption out of the springs.

Exactly as I expected. Cool little rat bike seat for my ironhead. Made a couple quick brackets to mount these springs. Buy the chrome mount if you prefer the look. This is a low profile seat, it is not like riding your layzboy down the street.
