There are two different pistols mentioned in the ad.The ad says it is for a six shot pistol yet the Ruger SP 101 is a five shot Will it work?

The HKS 32-J will work on the Ruger SP101 that is a 32 H&R Magnum 6 shot Revolver. When you ask a question, you need to state which exact model you are referring to. Ruger makes other SP101 models that are a different calibre and are only 5 shots where you would need a different speedloader. You can also use speed-strips instead of a speedloader. They are actually faster to use and take up less space in your pocket.

Has anyone checked if this works on the new ruger lcr 327?

I have the LCR 327, I removed the standard Hogue boot grips and replaced them with Hogue Tamer longer grips and everything works for me

Will this work for taurus 38 special 856?

No! The 856 is larger than the .32

Will this item work for a s&w .32 colt new police?

it should work i'm using it on S&W 32 I frame which is uses 32 colt new police cartridges.
