American Foreign Policy: The Dynamics of Choice in the 21st Century

I was looking for a foreign policy textbook and this one is great. It was in excellent condition too, with no signs of wear.

Book is good, easy to read, but was very damaged.

This book is a textbook for the class by the same name. Although written by the instructor for the course I found the book to be excellent. It is very readable, and well researched. Prof. Jentleson's experience in this field has contributed greatly to this book. His knowledge and understanding of foreign policy makes this book a must for anyone taking his course through Coursera. During the course videos he has only a limited amount of time to teach; but this book extends the material in the videos to give the reader a better understanding of the material. And, of course, the course is designed around the textbook, however, the one only supports the other. Bon Appetite!!

Bought “good-used” and I expected it to be used, but not like this. I rented this book “used” once before and needed it again so decided to just buy it. Terrible quality. Can’t believe they would even offer it like this. The whole front cover has been cut off and there are pages torn throughout. I’m giving 2 stars simply because the text itself is worth having, but now I have to get a different copy. I can’t use this at all.

A great textbook. If I were still teaching international relations courses, I would use this book. The videos he has posted in conjunction with his online class touch upon, but do not have the depth, this book contains.

It was a required book for a class I took and it was very informative about the subject it covers.

good novel

Thorough and unbiased. A wealth of information.

Ein brauchbares Buch, das ich begleitend zu dem entsprechenden Coursera-Kurs verwendet habe (in dem es fast schon peinlich promoted wurde), allerdings ohne besondere Überraschungen oder besonderen Tiefgang. Da hatte ich mir mehr erwartet. Ich empfehle, sich hier nach Alternativen umzuschauen, z.B. auch allgemeinen International Relations-Büchern und sich das US-Wissen gesondert zu verschaffen, was mit offenen Quellen ebenso leicht möglich ist.
