What is a good Repair kit for Cabriolet/ convertible car headliner

There is no Repair.. Only new one , Upholstery Shop.

Are these pins good for car overhead Upholstery?

Yes. My headliner was coming down. It was only still attached around the edges I used most of the pins to tack it in place and it has stayed in place for over about 8 months so far. Even with the windows down I don't notice any significant movement of the fabric. Take the time to space the pins so yo have a pattern and you'll barely notice them.

where are these made?

All of these types of pins are made in China.
