This is an awesome cage. Sturdy and well built. Did not come with directions...just a part list. While it was easy to assemble, it took quite a lot of time because I had to undo some things because I wasn't sure what I was doing. If yours doesn't come with instructions, prepare to say a lot of curse words! :) All in all, it was worth it, love the cage.

If you are a serious bird owner and want a quality cage for your birds, this is definitely one to give consideration to. As you are probably aware of, cages need to be longer than they are taller. Birds fly vertically, not horizontally. I'm currently using this cage as a breeder or my red factor canaries. Once I put my birds in this cage, the automatically started flying from one side to the other, they loved it! Most traditional cages just do not give the bird ample room to fly around. I feel that this cage would be ideal for canaries, finches, parakeets, love birds, cockatiels and other small to medium sized birds. I don't use the food bowls that come with this cage, they are a bit large for canaries. I do use the bowls as bird baths for them, it works perfectly. This cage is definitely a quality cage and made of good solid construction. I use it indoors and even though it gets wet from the birds bathing, I don't have to worry about it rusting. The instructions were sensible, and I assembled it in under an hour. You don't need any tools besides the ones they provide with the cage. For me, I like that an additional cage can be added or stacked on top of this cage if you so choose to. I can't speak for the other cage brands that are similar to this cage, but I can tell you that this one is well done and worth the money.

I have been wanting to get this cage for a while but didn't have the reasoning to do so. Three cockatiel eggs later, I thought it was about time i seperate my male and female cockatiel. So, I hopped onto amazon and knew exactly which cage I wanted. It arrived packaged nicely and all the pieces were accounted for and undamaged (at least undamaged enough that i could use them). The instructions were pretty simple to follow and a few mess ups and lost parts later, i had a fully functional cage! I took the advice of a few other reviews that mentioned the side hatches for nest boxes being hazardous and taped the nest hinges closed. This is temporary as I will zip tie the hinges closed when I find where I put my zip ties. The cage IS smaller than I would have liked for a cockatiel, BUT my guys dont spend much time inside the cage and each section is big enough for them to move around easily. I even put a swing on one side so my male cockatiel could use it and he's in love with the thing. All in all i am pleased with the cage. The stands are short, as mentioned in toher reviews, but It works for what I need it for. Pros: The directions are easy to follow The cage is as described ( no surprises here) It has a sturdy frame and the stand is really useful for storing bird paraphanalia. Cons: Bars are a little more flimsy than my other cage The stand is shorter than I expected. I am 5''2' and the comes up to my stomach full assembled with wheels. Extra Tip: I've noticed that the food and water dishes that come with the cage have slightly reduced the seed and pellet tossing that usually happens. I think the depth and how big they are help.

I got this cage a month ago. I really like it. I have 2 finches in it without the divider. The cage is very sturdy. It has a support piece across the top (front to back) for added strength. Some measurements: height with stand, 40 inches. length 37.5 inches. width 18 inches. Height of cage only, 20.5 inches, Front doors (2) are 7 inches (length) x 9 inches (height). The bar spacing is 0.5 inches. The space above the lower stand shelf to the cage is 12 inches. The nest box side doors are 7 inches (length) x 6 inches (height). They have a tight spring to keep them closed but just in case put a zip tie on them to keep them shut. I also have zip ties (ones you can open again) on the front doors, since when I take the cage cover off, it tends to flip the latch up. I had to add a small piece of wood to fill in the space along the nest box since the 7 inch length nest door opening was a bit too big. Not a problem. I put in 2 pieces of cardboard to fill in the small gap at the bottom of the cage since I do not have the divider in. No poo down to my carpet. I can easily slide it out if I put in the divider to clean something with both birds on the other side. The small gap is safe for the birds. I have been using green reptile carpet without the bottom cage grate. I put in a fresh clean piece on each side every day. I have several pieces so I always have a clean and dry one ready to go. The birds can explore at the bottom of the cage without losing things through the grate and it is easier to wash poo off the carpet instead of getting it off the grate. I like that the trays are metal. Also, the seed cups are large for finches, so I put 2 clean and dry sponges at the bottom of the cup with a thin piece of cardboard (from the back of a notebook) over the top sponge. My gouldians finches like the cage too. After being in it for 3 weeks, they laid 6 eggs.

I bought this cage and also the one that came with the stand. The cage arrived very well packaged with no damage to the box or contents. Since I put the one with stand together last week, this one was easy to assemble. The only thing that required a little more "muscle" were the top corner brackets that hold the top to the cage. These brackets were bent slightly and didn't line up perfectly with the holes or screw. Instructions are basic and include drawings, which are easy to follow if you think about how the final product operates. It only took about 1/2 hour to assemble. While I'm not a fan of dowel perches, the ones included seem fine to use low in the cage for the birds to hop on to and from the floor for their food dishes. I installed branches high on both ends with another branch lower in the center section. My parrot finches seem to stay busy flying from side to side and utilize every inch of this cage. The cage currently houses a pair of red-factor canaries, 2 red headed parrot finches, and 2 lady gouldian finches. Once I move the canaries to the other cage, I think the cage is the perfect size for the 4 finches and will be easy to divide with the included divider should they decide to start nesting. So far I'm very happy with the cages and the stand and would recommend it if you are shopping for a decently wide breeder/flight cage for small birds. I have no experience with birds larger than budgies, canaries or finches, so I'm not sure how it would suit anything larger.

I don't breed birds so I cannot vouch for that aspect of this cage, however I have a pair of female diamond doves that normally get along great, but the larger dove occasionally gets aggressive after they give up incubating their eggs. I used to have to separate them in completely different cages, but this one makes it so much easier with the divider in the middle. Now whenever she's upset with the little dove, I can split them up without putting undue stress on them. The divider is normal 1/2" spaced cage wire so they can still see each other and socialize which doves need, but it prevents the little dove from getting beaten up. There's still plenty of room for birds their size to run around, eat, play and fly even with the divider in. I would not recommend it for any bird larger than a budgie, but for my doves it is perfect. Assembly was very easy and required no extra tools. Everything is included, the instructions were very clear and I was able to put it together in about 45 minutes. It is also sturdy and the casters roll and lock with no problem.

This is the third cage of this brand I've had, as I've expanded my bird family. I was so tempted to go with the off-brand for similar cages but the reviews were just not as convincing, so I went with the more expensive option, but I knew I could trust it. They didn't let us down! I ordered this cage with the stand and another without the stand so I could stack. I moved my (somewhat depressed) budgies from a tall, narrow cage to into a full wide, but shorter cage in the lower level(they're so happy now!!!) and our male and female cockatiels who are usually out of their cages anyway have their separate spaces in the upper cage, with the option to open that up for them to enjoy both sides together. If my female is feeling particularly *broody* though, there's a super easy way to separate them and I love it! Perfect setup and takes up far less room than all of my other cages combined in this space. Now to get them a UV light ... If this company sells those too, they have my bank account! I absolutely LOVE their cages. Thank you for making solid, reliable products!

Ottimi materiali, il montaggio facilissimo! Le ruote non sembrano molto robuste a prima vista, ma per ora non hanno presentato nessun problema, anzi scorrono perfettamente durante gli spostamenti. E' stato un ottimo acquisto con un buonissimo rapporto qualità prezzo!

Really easy to build and very good for small parrots

This is a perfect cage for a couple of small to medium sized birds. Long rather than tall so avoids all the unused space. Easy to put together.

It is easily assembled. Stand could be somewhat taller/higher as a little more hight would be helpful in feeding and cleaning
