This foam is tested as a Type V commercial and residential fireblock to ASTM E 84 (modified) and acts as a draftstop to help reduce air infiltration. If so, what kind of paint?** A: Yes any **Q: can this be painted over?** A: This is not a product that should be exposed such that they finish paint coat would be necessary. It should be used in the rafters and in areas you’re trying to fire block to prevent the spread of flames in an emergency situation.
