Good value for a quality make. Standard size and good versatility , sounds excellent as you'd expect with a marshall amp.

Amazing sound for the money
I bought this Marshall MG15GR and the Vox VX15GT and wow was there a significant difference. The Marshall has so much more of a rich tone with a lot of bass, making the Vox sound like a toy in comparison. The treble and middle are also great and giving a powerful rocking tone and the reverb was also really effective and authentic. For my environment, I needed an amp that can give an adrenaline rush but at a low volume so I don't bother the neighbours and this works perfectly. The controls are really effective in scaling back volume and bass without loss of quality. I use the AUX to play along with songs and backing tracks and the quality through the speaker is really good and I was honestly surprised with how good it was for such a low price. I also some times use (audio technica) headphones and it sounds great through them, allowing me to turn up the volume and receive a strong sense of power. I nearly didn't buy this amp and was just going to get the Vox but I thought I should compare the two and I am so glad I did, as the Marshall was also £20 cheaper. I didn't bother with the FX version as I don't use those features and would likely get pedals if I did, so I can't comment on those but as an amp with no effects other than reverb, it is a must buy and has a great Marshall sound on both the clean and overdrive channels. I plan to use this amp when finding a band to practice with and am confident it will be loud enough for practice and very small gigs, which has also been supported with my YouTube research, but I can only review for home use as far.

Nice
It makes a very full and full sound, I didn't expect this high quality, there is no difference in my bulb amplifatres, thank you very much

Good, competent amp, at a very good price
Nice amp, distortions are nice and crisp. Takes a bit of getting used to the preset vs. custom modes. Could have more treble for my liking and the middle doesn't seem to change much. I usually use this to get a nice fuzzy sound but it's not doing that very well on here. The casing is very plasticy compared to a DSL or bigger amp, which feel almost leather. It's also light and quite thin so doesn't take up much space. The headphone socket works well, I've had DSL's where the headphone sound is just rubbish but it's good on here. Be ware that you cannot use more than 1 effect at a time with this amp so if you want delay and chorus, you can't do that. Reverb is separate though and sounds very nice. Although it's an effects based amp, you really need a pedal or two as well to blend different effects, which then makes it a pain. There's no effects loop either, in fact the closed back has nothing on it. The power cable is built in too, so you can't unplug the cable for easier moving about, you have to hold the cable somewhere. I like it overall, but it's just not as nice sounding or as loud as a valve based amp...of course. It is amazing that you get all this for this price though, I've got a couple of pedals that cost this much on their own.

Great sounding amp
Great little amp, so glad I went with the 10w Marshall. Was a choice between Fender, Orange Crush and Vox. I love this little amp, and it is way louder than I expected (was initially worried). Cant only get volume to half way at most otherwise I would annoy the neighbours. Great sounding amp and very happy with the purchase.
