My building asks that you give a copy of your keys to a neighbor in case of emergencies. I refused to do that because I do not know or trust any of my neighbors like that so this was a perfect solution. I purchased this so my super could gain access to my apartment to check for a potential gas leak. I'd already taken off one day when he did not show up and I was not taking another day off. He called while I was at work, I gave him the code and asked that he leave the key in my apartment. When I returned home I changed the code and put the key and lockbox back on my door for future emergencies.

This works great in all types of weather. I used this to get some chimney work done in the summertime and was not going to be home to let the contractor in. Put this on the back door with the key and gave him the code. Worked perfect. Comes with directions that are easy to use and once you put on the doorknob and lock it, you can't remove it without the code so very safe. Also used in the middle of winter in the northeast and seems to be working just fine. For inexpensive lock box, I would highly recommend.

This is a great little lock box providing security and convenience for a variety of needs. Fits around the doorknob nicely or other locations you might designate. I purchased mine to avoid another $80 Pop-A-Lock mistake when I moved into my new condo. I’ve already used it once. 🙂 Hey, it does what I need it to do. Inexpensive, durable and convenient. Having contractors in and out of the house, this worked well to hold a key, so we weren’t handling out lots of keys to random workers. Easy to change the code too. Each time we had a different person/company in, we changed the code to their initials (or the company initials) so it was easy for them to remember. I liked it better than numbers.

I liked that it was easy to use. I’ve locked myself out one time and I didn’t want that to happen again. I didn’t want to hide a key on my porch somewhere. This is great and I know it’s not perfect but I feel it is safer than hiding a key under the door mate.

I use the garage for entry all the time but a recent power failure left me without a way into my home. I usually carry a key but didn’t have the key on me. No worries now with this secure lockbox. I hid the lockbox in a secure location and now feel better about never getting locked out again.

I loved that I could choose my own code! I’ve got it hanging on the railing outside my front door and it’s stood up to the elements thus far. It’s so convenient and safer than a “hide-a-key”. Great option for my housekeeper, dog walker, friends, etc to gain access to my house.

This is well-made and very easy to use. Are use it for indoor so I don’t know about the weatherproofing but if you are looking for something that works and is simple, this is the one
