The Very Best Of Joan Armatrading

An excellent album by a very talented artist

A must for all Joan Armatrading Fans! Go on treat yourself!

Joan Armatrading has done some terrific music and it is really good to get a lot of them all on one cd. I don't hear a lot of her on the radio nowadays so it is especially nice to be able to settle into the car and listen to some classic tracks whilst I drive. It's difficult to pock a favourite because all of the tracks on this album are great but maybe "Me myself I" stands out.

Gaddang love this album. First listen I was a little unsure. Second listen I thought, 'OK there are a few tracks I think I like here'. Third listen liked it more. Fourth, more. Fifth more. Ended up listening to it about twelve times in the first week. It's a great album to visit.

Value for money but the only complaint, if you were using them for the first time, is that there are no instructions for use on the box.

The fusion of jazz and folk that made Joan Armatrading the iconic voice of her time. Beautiful lyrics and arrangements, with heartfelt performances, such a wonderful vocal range, I am a total fan.

Absolutely LOVE Joan Armatrading! I purchased this album after being blown away by just one of her songs - The Weakness In Me - but I've since discovered several favourites: Down to Zero, More Than One Kind of Love, Drop The Pilot, Willow... in short I LOVE THEM ALL!!!
