Easy to install. Bright and effective. Nice guage. I ordered the closed end plastic pod and mounted to my A pillar.

Loved everything about this guage and I get a lot of compliments on it. Very easy to hook up and install. My only issue is that it stopped working after about a year, but I think that is because of the extremely hot environment here, which tends to kill electrical and electronic components. Half the year here in Lake Havasu, the temps are easily above 100 deg F (measured in the shade), so imagine what the temp inside of your car is when it sits outside in the sun! Mounting the guage in an A pillar cluster means that it's exposed to direct sunlight, so it gets really hot, especially during the insanely hot summers here, so I'm not surprised it died when it did.

Any of these gauges work just fine. I can say that Glow Shift’s customer service is great.Absolutely be sure not to over tighten the nuts that are to hold the bracket on. It will deform the backside of the gauge and cause the push button on the face of the gauge not to work. I would recommend using a low strength thread lock to hold the nuts on. If you do over tighten the bracket you can push on the backside of the gauge to flatten it out. Then the button on the face will work again.I can say the wire going to the transmission was almost to short to reach the new sensor. Again it makes a difference on how you run the wires and where you mount the gauge.

The white face is much easier to read in low light conditions.

Works fine and when not lit, matches the gauges in my 2003 Ram very well. Problem is the lighting isn't the same color as the stock gauges and worse, it's too bright even when set to the dimmest level.

When it comes to aftermarket gauges, I haven't had the best of luck. Except for this one, it was easy to install, it always works. Simple.Had it about 6 months.
