The bike is good for strengthening the affected leg, the core muscles, and to help regain balance. The bike has different intensity levels, so I am starting at the lowest level. It also has a monitor that provides useful info such as time spent on exercising, the distance covered (though in meters, which I still have trouble with), And calories burned.I've placed the small bike under my desk and have begin using it as I work on the computer. This is a nice arrangement as I can exercise and work at the same time. I've only just started to use the bike, but it seems to do exactly what the doctor said it would.
