Great speakers at a great price. I replaced my rear speakers in my 2010 Camry. An adapter piece is needed to make it fit. At first I was concerned because they weren’t loud or have any bass compared to factory speakers.But one by one I replaced all four speakers. I couldn’t be happier with the final result. You do need a different* adapter for front doors as the rear adapter is not the same for the doors.The sound is crisp and clear, so much that my hands free calls have improved and people on the other end of the car can hear me now. The speakers do have a lot of bass. But obviously you would need an amp and subwoofer to improve it. I don’t need either as the sound is perfect. Unsure on the durability as I just installed these this week (March 2026). I’m very happy with them.The wires it comes with are short, the rear are ok but you’ll need more wire for front doors.

Reliability, loud, nice looking, distortion

Great purchase for my Camry. Has pretty good sound quality, great sound output, clear, and affordable for the quality. Definitely would recommend if you want good sound and a great price! Just a few modifications you need like connectors and speaker brackets, which is common sense considering they’re made for many makes and models specifically with their variety of sizes

Sounds like a premium speaker for half the price

Came on time, and work nicely for the price, (great price BTW 29.99 per pair, bought two) the speakers i replaced were 6x9, but these would not fit despite being 6x9, so had to mount kind of weird, till i can make (modify) a better solution. the basket below the mounting surface is bulged too much to properly seat in the mounting position, so they are sitting somewhat crooked (ALL 4 POSITIONS).Now to the sound, they are good (Real good), glad i bought them, but Jeez the mounting is atrocious. These are supposed to be direct replacements and do not fit.Update, raised them to 5 starts, yes they still don't fit properly, but the sound is awesome for the price. If i wanted to i could make a wood spacer and fix it. so fit is not a bother, but like i said, the sound is great and i have been beating on them, with a stock Dodge SXT 6 disk changer in dash and they will not break

Even without an amp these were sounding really nice. With an amp, even better, I was now hearing so much high end and mids that my stock system badly lacked. With an amp the bass output is ok, but it's not going to be the same unless you add a sub. For a budget priced speaker JVC does not disappoint. They aren't Rockfords but are darn good for under forty bucks. You won't be sorry to get these especially if you are on a budget. Definitely an upgrade over stock. I did break off one of the speaker leads because it was so hard to plug into the Metra speaker adapter, more the fault of the tight Metra fitting but still be careful, you can only put so much pressure on the tiny speaker lead that is welded to the JVC. It still works, no issues, it's just that one speaker lead hangs a bit off the speaker. Not the fault of JVC just be careful with the leads if it's a tight fit, loosen your female end of the speaker plug a bit coming from your speaker wire and you'll be all set. A solid buy.

Good budget 6x9, but is only a 2 way. Has a central tweeter with a small circle of plastic to the side that I originally thought was a smaller tweeter, but is only made to look like it. Don't get me wrong, they sound great for the price, but lose a star for misleading/false advertising. Perfect for stock head unit, but anything but a small amplifier is going to be too much power. Build quality is also pretty poor, these are definitely the lightest, most unsubstantial 6x9's that I have seen, but that does make them easier to fit and install.
