Holy Land MarketLarge Olive Wood Pen Blanks from Bethlehem (6 x 1.5 Inches)

I like the grain the wood has-beautiful.

Pieces came as described, made ornaments out of the large blanks. Most of the length of each piece was very well figured. I also made some pens from some smaller blanks that I received by mistake. The seller's customer support sent new pieces right away. Very responsive! There was some checking (cracks from drying) in the normal places due to no treatment after cutting, but the parts were dry and CA glue solved the cracks no problem. No pieces blew while on the lathe.

Was going to make a train whistle for my grandson. This piece of wood had dry rot on it and a small edge of bark on one corner. There also was a crack running lengthwise along one side. Not even suitable to turn on a lathe.

Made great handle material for a 70 year old Watermelon knife.

I was expecting a nice waving dark pattern but I got a very plain, dry and with cracks on the black... I don't think I can use it even stabilizing it...

Gorgeous piece!! Perfect stick for adding to my Damascus steel rings I call, Road to Damascus.

This was a gift. Still thinking about what to use it for.

Love this wood. At first the odor of it was a little off putting but now I like it!! I make darts, pens, rings and lots more with it. One huge benefit is that it shines itself when heated while sanding. The pen in the picture has no finishing products on it!

Order two pcs to make knife handles with.Both are cracked down middle and useless to me.They smell nice and are from "holy land" but are useless to make anything out of these now.
