Spancraft Glass Monarch Glass Shelf, Chrome, 12 x 30

I built a bar down my basement and wanted to add shelves to store some liquor and didn't want them to completely block the light on the bar. I had oak to match the bar, but thought glass would really make it look good. I was nervous about ordering glass on line, but couldn't be happier with the spancraft product. It was simple to install and looks great. It took less than 20 minutes to lay them out and install them. Highly recommend this product.

The Spancraft Glass Monarch Glass Shelf in black arrived on the day it was supposed to, was packed well (putting the glass shelf wedged catty cornered so it would hold and not shake around in the box was a good idea.) and had no flaws/breakage. Found the instructions in the bracket box. We wasted a lot of time trying to find the studs and could not. Fortunately, we had some toggle bolts in the house that did the job perfectly. If we knew what we were doing from the start, it most likely would have been an easy and fast job. It took us over five hours to complete it. We now know how to do next time we have to hang a shelf. It would have been nice if Spancraft included a set of anchors/toggle bolts as an alternative for those of us who couldn't find the studs where we needed them to be in order to hang the shelf. My husband said that's ridiculous because most companies send cheap/inadequate plastic anchors/toggle bolts, anyway and they can't afford to ship every anchor there is, so to speak. So, the the purchaser has to search/go out and buy better ones. It's happened to us before. The shelf fits perfectly for where we wanted to put it (above my glass top, black framed, Z-Line computer desk) and the black brackets' design is beautiful. I like the way they hug the glass shelf so securely. Would I recommend this product to someone else. Yes. I like that one has a choice of bracket colors. It's a nice piece of glass with solid, pretty brackets. Not bad for the price. Just know what you're doing and have the right tools before you hang it. That helps.

I’ve been looking for floating shelves for a kitchen remodel for wine glasses. Spancraft had quite a variety of types, sizes and finishes. I settled on this one. Shipment arrived. Since it was glass, and I wasn’t going to install right away, I opened it right away to check fro damage of breaks, cracks and chips and saw none. The brackets installed quickly and easily. When I slid the glass shelf in I saw what looked like a chip. Damned! But it was a flaw in the molding of the edge. I threw out the packaging days earlier and couldn’t safely repack and return. I looked for contact information for Spancraft and couldn’t find it on Amazon. I just wanted to try to resolve without shipping both shelves back.I am giving a star to get a Spancraft rep to contact me. I would give 5 stars understanding manufacturing defects can get through. I’ll change it once resolved to 5 stars.

LOVE this shelf. I purchased two for above my kitchen sink. I think it’s beautiful. The glass shelves allow the light above to show thru.

I purchased three for my bathroom. The glass has a slight green tint, which works well with my color scheme. They are very heavy, so I used heavier anchors than the ones provided.

I wanted this glass shelf for our remolded guest bathroom. It’s perfect! The brackets are prettier than I thought and it displays bath & body products beautifully.

These are amazing, all the hardware is is very nice looking and glass is thick.Easy the install, however I would recommend purchasing heavy duty zip style screws/anchors.I would recommend these shelves for any DIY project. They look great!
