Needed something to make my already ran cat-6 lines just a little longer when re arranging my game room. These worked perfect and I didn't loose and internet speed.

I needed to extend several home wiring closet cables by 3' to reach my new 10G QNAP switch. I really didn't want to do a coupler plus a regular ethernet cable, as that theoretically could degrade the signal a touch. So I got these 'all in one' extension cables and they work great. I was worried that some reviewers said they were super stiff. While the cables are high quality and well built, I don't find them overly stiff for my needs. I was able to easily bend and route the cables as needed without issue.

I have the connector end (the female connector) in front of my computer so I can just reach right over and get off the internet whenever I don't need to be online. Very handy.

Easy purchase and install. Would purchase again. The cables and ports are well made.

I'm a big fan of Cable Matters. Their products are always high quality, reasonably priced, and do what they are supposed to do. These extension cables are no exception.I'm deducting a star specifically for the 3' cables. They are extremely stiff and require considerable force to bend. A small bend isn't going to break anything, but if one of your objectives is to reduce bending stress on your device connector, you will basically have to let this cable go where it wants and connect something flexible to it. Best to look elsewhere if that is an issue in your application.Strangely, the 1' cables (which I had purchased previously) don't have the same issue. Possibly Cable Matters uses a heavier gauge wire and/or switched manufacturing techniques for the longer cables.

Great product, well made, easy to install. My Ethernet cable had been in and out of my laptop many times over the years and finally broke since both ends of the cable were separated by 50 feet in a dirt crawl space I tried this cable as a quick fix. Installed my broken Ethernet cable in one end, black taped the broken and the new cable together inserted the new cable in the laptop and Wa-La worked perfectly and didn't have to crawl through the dirt, cob webs or use the crawl space. I'd certainly buy more if needed.

My mobile ham radio in my vehicle needed a little more cable to work. This fit the bill and was cheaper than the OEM cable by a lot.

Got my house Ethernet cabled a couple of weeks ago, the contractor by some strange reason left one cable shorter by some reason on the networking cabinet. Long story short, the cable goes from the attic to the garage, so I was looking for a "cheap" solution (mostly to save time arguing with the contractor) to solve a 4 feet gap and found these babies. This are really good quality, metal clips on both ends, cat6, bending enough for proper cable management while keeping a roughness to them, they are not intended for outdoor use but they look that sturdy.Haven't experience speed or package drops on the connections from the attic to the garage, solid purchase.
