Quena (Kena) Learning Method

All I can say here is to save your money. Basically what you would be paying for is a low-quality CD recording of the author. The book is printed in Spanish, English, and French. However, the English translations contain many misprints and grammatical errors. The text that is included with the music is all in Spanish with no translation. There is no step by step procedure on how to properly hold the instrument and create a tone. Just a paragraph that tells you to hold the instrument like the picture, and blow.Nothing in the book tells you how to create notes like you would see in many instruction books, or anything for the individual who does not know how to read music. Just a few paragraphs on the history of the quena, how to hold it, and some tunes to play. The music is very poorly written with many mistakes on key signatures and notations. I was very disappointed in my purchase.

Book and CD excellent. The lessons are well explained but what makes this product excellent is the book and CD.
