There are 12 in the package. I paid $5.99 plus $5.99 shipping. That's $1.00 per pad. A bit hefty of a price in my opinion. They seem well made. I ended up buying a 55-pack of 10" x 15" rags at Home Depot for $10.97 and am using those for staining wood.
