Reusable Cotton Pads (25 PACK) Bamboo/Cotton Washable Face Make Up Remover Pads - Bee Bambu

These super soft pads are larger than normalCotton wool pads ( see photo for comparison).I tried them to take my make up off using micellar water, to use clarifying lotion and to take my make up off using a balm cleanser. Read all three, as they had very different results!Using micellar water didn’t end well. The liquid splashed right off the pad to begin with and then, due to the pads excellent absorbency, the liquid just got sucked up into the pad and was so ineffective in removing my make up that I had to use cotton wool pads afterwards to clean up... ( and I don’t wär that much make up!)Using clarifying lotion was similarly disappointing. I looked in dismay as this pad “drank” up my extremely expensive lotion and then didn’t want to release it back on to my face...(UPDATE - after the wipes had been machine washed several times they were much better. The liquids no longer rolled off the material and they were amazing to use for both micellar water and lotion.)So why have I given it five stars?That would be down to the final trial- using them with balm cleanser. This cleanser you use by smoothing the balm into your face, it turns to oil as you’re doing this. You then add water and it turns into an emollient that’ can be wiped off - and this is where this wonderful little pads came into their own! They were absolutely brilliant at removing the cleanser, super soft on my face and no make up residue left afterwards. A quick rinse in cold water and they were clean looking and ready to be placed in the bag for a proper wash. Popped Half a dozen of them into the drawstring bag and into the machine with my towels And they came out spotless (do remember to tie the bag!). I’m sure you could put more in but I wouldn’t fill the bag too full.I keep them in a decorative glass jar, leaving the little cotton bag free for used ones. Now I’m happily doing a little more to save the environment and my skin is thanking me too!.This is an honest and unbiased review. Very soft and silky feeling, almost hoping they'll get a little more rough when washed. Love the Earth-friendly reusability and the cardboard packaging, into which, however, Beebambu put a PLASTIC-COATED "please help us by writing a review" card. I mean, come on guys! Would a simple piece of paper not have done the same job? Thanks for the "15% off your next order" but you immediately lost my business with that kind of foolishness.

We LOVE these!! Bought these for myself but my daughter loves them too! They are so super soft and a good size. They wash brilliantly and I just throw them in with my weekly towel wash so absolutely no extra washing involved. They come beautifully packaged and the cute wash bag is fab and really practical. I was drawn to them for the environmental benefits but they are also very luxurious so you also get to pamper yourself. I would 100% recommended these!

I had these recommended by a friend and they are just brilliant! Normal cotton pads often end up leaving fibres which cause problems with my contact lenses, but these are soft, don't shed any fibres and are endlessly reusable. A very clever product which I've recommended to many other friends - I'm buying more for my very environmentally aware daughters!

These soft pads are a brilliant substitute for the cotton wool versions. I’m no eco warrior but am trying to minimise on the amount of stuff I just throw away..... These reusable pads do exactly the same job as the throw away cotton wool pads except you’re given a little washing net so they can be easily popped into the washing machine and reused time and time again! Perfect.

They are soft and absorbent and are fantastic for cleaning off makeup at night. I love the fact that they are reusable and the net bag is great too wash them in. The only change I would suggest would be adding a second bag so that there is one for storage and one for dirty pads. Love this product!

They worked fine, but I felt I was using more product as too much was getting absorbed into the pads themselves. Over time, after washes, despite following the instructions, I found they got rougher and weren't comfortable to use. When I eventually tried a cotton pad on my skin again, I was amazed at how soft it felt in comparison. It doesn't necessarily bother me much, but they also got quite stained over time, even washing on their own.

These pads feel hard against my skin and it's difficult to feel that they are clearing foundation cream out of my pores. If I continue to use them I need to find an attractive pot to hold the dirty pads as a pile of used pads isn't attractive. They wash clean in the washing machine really well and I'm sure they must do a little to save the environment.
