Lights well and fits sturdy on the nook

This light is for my Kindle. It fits well, but just not thrilled with the light it puts out plus it doesn't seem to reach the bottom of the kindle page. Have not been using it.

Battery is almost impossible to get to. This is very VERY cheaply made. After much toiling managed to get the battery cover off and batteries in, then tried to put the cover back on and plastic "teeth" broke making it almost impossible to close cover. Getting the "adjustable" clip to fit onto the kindle was also a nightmare. It's only somewhat adjustable, eventually got it to fit but was very nervous that it would snap at any moment. Seriously felt like those dysfunctional infomercial actors trying to get this thing to work. For the record, I am perfectly capable of opening a carton of milk. Batteries are installed, clip is fitted onto kindle i turn it on. Yes, it works, no, there are not various settings. Not even the tiniest difference between the bright and dim settings. Oh well, this is not a deal breaker. Read my book, and turned the light off. Within a few days i try to turn it on again and nothing. Dead. They were brand new batteries, so that's not the issue. Complete piece of junk.

This eReader light is a pretty good buy. It is cheap (I got for around $5 on prime), and fits snugly onto the top of my Kindle 3. Oddly enough, I received a Paperwhite just 3 weeks after buying this for myself, so I can't attest to lifespan or battery management on this light - but for $5 this will work with your kindle and provide enough light to read in a pitch black room without straining your eyes.Oh yeah, the 2 brightness settings aren't very different, to be honest.I would still recommend this for a cheap way to read at night without upsetting your partner... lol!

On/off switch broke after two months of use. Wasn't happy with the illumination.

Exactly what I was looking for. Works great with my kindle.

Like the small size & fold-up design for when not in use. Light is bright enough.Only downside is the spring loaded & plastic tab mechanism for attaching to my kindle. Doesn't seem very sturdy. Hope it lasts.

Batteries were leaking all over when I got this lamp. It does not clip onto my Kindle that well and gets in my way unless I hold the reader up more than I want. The light is dim. The price was very reasonable and it was not worth returning, so I keep trying to use the light for reading a book or something. I have bad eyes, and so far the light is just too dim. Maybe younger readers would appreciate a dim reading light?
