I ordered light gray for my living room and liked them so much that I ordered more in cappuccino for my bedroom. They aren't total black out but do darken the room quite a bit but I bought them because they have a nice backing to help insulate the rooms a little. They do have some wrinkles so if most of them don't hang out, I am going to try spraying some water on them to see if that helps some. Its a minor issue for me and I don't want to wash them as I noticed some of the other reviewers didn't seem to have the best luck. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I would definitely purchase again in the future.

I was pleased with this purchase the curtains are true to length and come with two in pack. They are just the right tan color. I would recommend making sure you buy the length and width you need, don’t focus on the length only. I would definitely recommend, plus they are blackout. The sun is blocked so I’m a happy camper.

Just perfect!! My office is at least 15 degrees cooler. The only complaint was the smell - it was from the black out liner, it went away after a few days and I'm really happy with these drapes.

I bought these curtains for bedroom and I was looking specifically for an insulated blackout curtain. Within the first night of using them we noticed a drastic difference in temperature and sound. Our house is almost 40 years old with the original windows that are single pane. It’s very difficult to regulate the temperature in our home. My husband has raved about these curtains and what a difference it has made. We can normally hear traffic and people walking by and it cuts the sound by at least 50%. Our home is brick and absorbs a lot of heat. Our bedroom is easily 10 to 15° warmer than the rest of the house because of the direction that faces the sun. Even with our wood blinds, these curtains did far more to block sun, heat and sound. The one caveat I will give it is that I do need to steam and or iron the curtains straight out of the package. They not only look nice but they are a higher quality than I expected. We liked them so much so that we purchased them for the rest of our house!

These curtains are double layered and work so well. My window is west facing and my room is significantly cooler with these curtains.

These are very nice drapes, especially for the price. They have quite a few wrinkles straight out of the package, but because of their weight wrinkles easily can be steamed away. I wish they came in more colors.

Love the way they look - linen textured effect is so lovely. They are well made and blackout is as described. Highly recommend. I’d buy these again!

I've finally found white drapes that offer good blackout feature! The white is pure white as I was looking for and they have nice white lining at the back. My only complaint is that they are definitely NOT wrinkle-free. I still need to wash the drapes as I just got them but so far they are pretty wrinkled...

I was having issue of sunlight through a different curtain on my window shining onto my computer monitor and making it hard to read. I replaced it with this one, and it completely blocks out the light, exactly how I wanted.

A lot of blackout blinds that I've bought sight unseen have had a weird plastic appearance - these have a linen texture which looks nice and more upscale.
