What would be the minimun wt. anchor that would work for a 20 ft pontoon in a freshwater lake?

Hi Ron,
This TRAC Pontoon 35 unit will pull a maximum of 35LB anchor.  TRAC  does recommend however not going over 30LB as often when retrieving an anchor it will come up with sticks, mud etc that can add weight and overly tax the unit. Which remote will work this winch? It is not the one listed as they suggested

The wireless remote that works with this unit is item number  T10116.  There is also a wired 2nd switch kit that can be added as well which is item T10115.  Both are TRAC items and can be seen on their site or please feel free to call them directly for further clarification at (615) 462-6224.

Hi,
No. This unit comes with an up/down switch on the housing of the unit.  You can add a TRAC T10116 which is a wireless remote kit or a TRAC T10115 Wired Second Switch kit.  With either of these additions the switch on the cover works as well as the Fob (T10116) or the 2nd switch mounted at the helm (T10115).
