PentairE23 White Quick Disconnect Adapter Replacement Automatic Pool Cleaner

I received an actual Pentair product in a Pentair bag, complete with E23 details exactly as described. I was VERY worried about changing out my broken adapter (like most, both inside notches broke). I didn't have channel locks but I had a good sized pipe wrench.I was worried about the pressure I'd put on the old adapter when trying to remove. So, I watched a great YouTube video where the guy discussed using the hose-side connector and putting it into the old adapter for unscrewing from the pool wall. I know, it won't stay in t here necessarily, after all it's broken. But it does maintain counter pressure on your wrench allowing you to simply, but slowly, remove the old adapter.I also wrapped the new adapter with water pipe tape and repeated the same process using the kreepy's hose-side connector again. I simply placed the hose connector inside the new adapter while carefully screwing it into the wall. No issue at all, worked like a charm. I also replace the o-ring on the hose-side connector at the same time, part #E21, mine was cracked. My Pentair Letro Legend is back hard at work.

Looks like the original fitting. I’m hoping it lasts longer. Pool water makes plastic parts brittle and easily breakable. I feel that it is a bit overpriced though.

Same exact fitting as the "Pentair LL23PM Gray Wall Fitting Adapter" (only this one is white and about 1/3 the cost of the gray/grey fitting).

My local pool store wanted 3x this for this part and 75$ to install. Are you kidding me? My old one broke after 5 years and it took all of 10 minutes for take the old out and replace it with this one.
