It's a cool product, bought the black ones (3 pack) and they seem to work well, looks nice, although one would assume that "Each port is also independent of the other when it comes to controlling them through the Smart Life app, allowing you to set different schedules or save power." to mean there is some granular level of control of it, rather than just turn on or off USB (both, not either or) and turn on or off AC (both, not either or). So I guess in this context "port" means all AC receptacles or all USB, you cannot individually control each AC receptacle or each USB which is disappointing and I feel pretty misleading. Being a Smartlife type of product, and I have several powerstrips that use this app as well as the ubiquitous ESP chipset these product seem to be based on and based on the description assumed that those products can individually control AC, though typically not USB, that this would be basically a mini in-wall version of that. While based on that assumption and the above quote from the description and what the chipset is obviously capable of, I figured 4 independent channels of control was what it did, this is not the case.All that said it's a nice looking product, the nightlight/wall plate dealy is a clever design that is made in such a way that you can use it or not if you needed to gang the device with another with a common plate for example, it turns on and off within the limits of what I've described and setup is typical of Smartlife supported devices.

I purchased the 3 bundle pakage to install , instalation is fine not that complicated and the actual product works as advertised you can turn on and off the outlet and the usb via the smart life app or link it to amazon alexa or to google home to be controlled via voice commands. The only problem I had was that 1 of the 3 smart plug didnt work properly it would not work more than half of the times when trying to turn on or off . Also on a smaller note i would like to have the option that when i turn the socket off it doesnt turn off USB also but that is not as important as 1 of the 3 not working properly.

4 stars, works as expected. Husband is ecstatic. They are, however, too big for some of our older single gang outlet boxes. Husband had to replace those now.

Easy to install and works great with my Alexa setup. I would love it if the 2 outlets on the same plug could be controlled separately, but overall I am extremely satisfied.

This outlet fills a real gap in outlets, particularly since so many items these days use the small power adapters (wall warts) that get in the way of each other. The outlet seems to be of high quality and installation would be simple were it not for the snap-on faceplate. In general snap-on faceplates are a pain and it bothers me that manufacturers will not spend the extra tiny amount to provide one or two screws to secure these faceplates. Anyway, you should plan on drilling your outlet box in order to accommodate the plastic pegs that hold the faceplate on. As is noted in many of these reviews, they snap on right at the edge of the box and the box will not permit them to snap in place. This is a minor irritation if you are doing it yourself; it could be kind of expensive if you have an electrician doing the work. In any event, it is the result of poor design.
