I've used this triple-flap doggy door in southern climates as well as in Ireland. I liked it so much that when we moved to Wisconsin, I knew this was the best doggy door for the very cold climate. And the dogs love the freedom it gives them!

I had to purchase this because the external, insulated door for my house that I bought from Lowe's came with a single flap pet door (dumb!). This is the second time I purchased this pet door (since Lowe's hauled away the old door with the insulated pet door still in it).This pet door is great despite my grievances with Lowe's and annoyance at having to buy it twice. It was fairly easy to install, but the screws that come with it are plastic and slightly flimsy. If you ever need to remove and reinstall the door, you will need to break the plastic screws to uninstall and buy new ones to reinstall. Otherwise, this is a good product that helps keep the winter snow and cold out of the house.

We have a sliding glass door insert by the same company, but the fit was poor and it took a lot of improving on my part.Nonetheless it does keep the cold out much better than the original door

My only issue is the cover . Very hard to pop off . If had a slide down cover would be awesome.

We got this dog door for our big Akitas. They like that they can come in and out as they please. However, we live in wonderful windy Wyoming and the wind continually blows the flap open, letting cold air in the house. On the not so windy days the dog door is fine, but since wyoming winters are more windy than not this really isn't for an extreme weather area. We have thought that we may need some stronger magnets on the flap. We will try that and see how it goes.

Abbiamo installato la porta su porta-finestra per permettere ai nostri cani di uscire ed entrare quando vogliono. Abbiamo due cani di taglia medio-grande e per loro é perfetta. L'installazione è stata facile e anche lˋutilizzo. Per i nostri cani era una novità ma hanno imparato velocemente come usarla. Lo sportello è composto da tre panelli, il centrale di plastica rigida, i due esterni più morbidi, così permettono isolamento dal freddo e comunque di uscire ed entrare comodamente. É tutto semplice da pulire con un panno umido e resistente.

Très pratique pour mes deux chiennes birded colley, apprentissage rapide, 5 mn pour l'une, après elle a du l'expliquer a sa sœur 😉. Apparemment de bonne qualité, ne laisse pas passer l'air quand le battant est fermé. Montage facile 1h et belles finissions . Monté sur une porte PVC, le rendu finale est impeccable.
