Structurally SOUND.
This is a very sturdy, well engineered foundation. There is no scrap to throw away---even he box it is shipped in is incorporated into the unit. You also get a quality box end wrench that has a speed ratchet on one end. A bonus for the tool box.With that being said, I do have one complaint and it is easily rectified. By design, the slatted top is screwed down only on the two en slats to hold them in place. They are all connected together by a sturdy ribbon on each side of center. Imagine a giant wooden rope ladder. The end slats are screwed to the foundation but the ones in between just lay on the supports so the foundation is noisy when you get in or out or when your rolling over. Especially noisy when "consecrating a marriage" so to speak. I'd recommend this product, but would also highly recommend drilling a pilot hole and screwing down every slat.

Good product, fair price but room for improvement
Dimensions for the Queen Box spring I received are 79" x 59 1/4" x 8". Assembled with 6 bolts (for frame) and 6 screws(for slats) , quick delivery and neatly compacted shipping. The kit comes with a 1/2 " wrench but I sped it up with drill and a 1/2" standard socket / #2 Phillips tip. GLOVES ARE A MUST!! due to the item having some rough areas and non sanded areas. Frame was slightly warped but with a little (25-50 lbs) of force able to line up and tap the guides into place. Once the guides were in place the bolts slid in with ease. Slats are slightly warped so I will be adding screws on each on to hold down in place. As well as placing MDF over the structure because of the nearly 4.5" gap in slats( the ribbon holding the slats together is poly nylon and stretches a bit so use the first set of dowels as a rest point when you fasten the top slat and pull taught as you fasten your way down so there isn't too much play between them once fully assembled) I am rating 4 stars because of the simplicity of assembly, quality of wood and the overall design. This product would be a 5 star product with further sanding, extra hardware provided to screw down warped slats and shorter gap between slats.

Good, not great product. Some "goods", some "bads"
Product arrived promptly and well packaged, here's a summary:I am satisfiied with the product. Here is my take:GOOD:Good priceGreat option when getting a full queen boxspring is difficult (as in my case)Very easy assembly (with a big glitch in my case, as it will be explained later)Very sturdy at a relatively low weightIt should take about 10 minutes to assemble once it is unpacked (it took me far longer; more on this later)BAD:It should have more slats, it wouldn't add too much more to the costIt should come with more screws to secure EVERY SLAT, not just a few; again, this additional expense to manufacturer would be just a few dollars at mostLow quality wood, likely that it won't outlast a typical box springPoor quality control: One of the stapled ends on my center beam was upside down; because it was stapled, it was difficult to detach it. Returning the entire frame for a replacement, after I had unpacked it, did not seem to be an attractive option. I had to use the piece as it was and drill holes in the correct places, and secure the center beam with some extra screws.

Does what it is supposed to do, easy assembly
I needed a foundation for my memory foam mattress. I saw this one and decided to give it a shot based on the good reviews. Arrived promptly in a relatively small box. Probably a bit more expensive than it should be but you have to hand it to this company for building a quality kit. One of the straps (that keeps the slats spaced and tight) broke but it wasn't really a problem. I simply drilled a hole and used another screw. Would recommend this product.

Have someone help you!
If you're a single lady who's almost thirty.. don't order this. Unless you have someone to call over to help you, putting this together is awkward. The pieces are long, and all the holes don't match up.. in fact some of the holes weren't drilled all the way thru. The instructions are also pretty non existent. It's a small picture with a few sentences saying "put everything together" -__- but all in all I think it will be just perfect for my guest bedroom. I'll update later once someone sleeps on it.

Nothing Short of Awesome!
This product came well packed in a long package. The directions were clear and all hardware and even a socket wrench was included to make assembly fast and simple. After putting this together and put the cover on it, I placed the mattress on top and it works perfectly. It is solid well constructed, and I highly recommend this product for those of you, like me, who have a second floor bedroom that even a low profile queen box spring won't fit! A must purchase!

Great boxspring, easy to assemble
Easy to assemble. Excellent instructions. A wrench is provided for the 6 bolts required for assembly. Good quality components. Took about 10 minutes to complete assembly. Great box spring.

easy construction. Arrived w/one screw missing
Solid, easy construction. Arrived w/one screw missing, but no problem. I have not had any of the 'noise' issues mentioned by other reviewers, but this is in our spare bedroom, so admittedly it's not used on a daily basis, although I've asked and heard no complaints. I'm very happy with this purchase.
