These do not fit like the Mary’s Janes which run rather large, rather these run true to size. (Do not order a size down with these as you would the Mary Janes. If in between order a size up). I love mine. Before my Lupus flair I collected and loved heels. When arthritic changes made me put away my heels I was heartbroken until I found Hot Chocolate designs. They are comfortable enough for my sore joints lbut receive more compliments than any other shoes I’ve owned. Now with these slip on I don’t even need to bend down and use my sore hands to buckle my shoes. I love these even more than the Mary Janes. They seem to have more cushioning in the sole and are so easy to slip on. They look cute with everything from skirts to jeans and I can’t wait to see more as they come out with new designs.Update: When it comes to shoes and clothing reviews I always wonder how well things hold up over time with normal wear. Well, I’ve owned these more than a year now. I’ve worn them all but daily and they still look great! I know that some have complained that they don’t fit the same as the Mary Janes, but consider for a moment what would happen if they did. The Mary Janes are designed to fit looser with a strap to secure them, as these are slip ons they must fit more snuggly in order to stay on your foot. That being said, these aren’t overly snug. As part of the fun of my SLE flair I regularly struggle with severe edema (swelling of my ankles and feet that makes them feel like overly ripe tomatoes - touching them can leave a dent as it would on said tomato.) I am able to wear these shoes no matter how bad the swelling gets as the design is open enough for even the most swollen feet. If you struggle with putting on shoes or edema but want to feel like a real person (have cute shoes) these are your answer. These are hands down daily the best shoes - my favorite shoes - I’ve ever owned. I can’t believe how perfectly they have held up. I will try to add current images so you can see how beautiful they look after a year of fatalities abuse.

Beautiful shoes with vibrant colors. This style of Hot Chocolate Shoes is quickly becoming my favorite with how easy it is to slip on and off. However I wish it came in half sizes. I fluctuate between a 5 and 6 depending on brand so I usually order size 6 to be safe. The size 6 is just a little too big and I can tell a size 5 would be way too tight. Otherwise they are amazing and I wear them all the time. I just have to wear with socks or tights to account for the heel lifting

The shoes are great, super cute and as read in other reviews the toe box is small. Wish they made half sizes. Amazon sold and shipped without the box they should be sold in.

I purchased these to go with a dinosaur dress I wore to my nephew’s baptism. I was a little nervous when picking a size, since like a lot of people, I’m a half size. I used the sizing chart and instructions on how to measure your feet and while still nervous it did work well. I have the beginning of a bunion on one foot and my toe knuckle, (for lack of a better term.) rubs a bit, but since I am wearing these as dress shoes and won’t be in them constantly, they are perfect! Super cute, sturdier than I expected, and surprisingly comfortable. Zero regrets on taking this chance!!!

I've bought Hot Chocolates through Amazon and their website proper both before. Slip-on always have confusion about sizing, but I fit 36 for mary Jane, slip-on, midheel. For sizing,I suggest visiting the Hot Chocolates website (note the slip-on toe is slightly more narrow than Mary jane). Anyway, all previous buying has been great experiences. This time not so much.***specifically for my astrology pair size 36***The shoes themselves look lovely and I have not found any manufacture flaws to the eye, but the box was completely beat up, so much so I had trouble opening it. However, the biggest problem is the smell. All of the HC I have of all varieties and none have ever smelled of such chemicals. Two pairs shipped together so they both smell like this. Its like 1000% factory industrial spray reminiscent of sealer or protectant and fertilizer mixed. I've been airing them out for 4 days so far and the only thing I've done is make my porch smell like the shoes.Not pleased with this but not sure i can do much about it. Hoping after I stain guard them it'll be better. I wear the hell outta my slip-ons, so hoping it disperses as I go, but certainly makes me super worried about buying more if they might come smelling like this. It'll give you a headache. I'm hoping the second pair will air out quicker and isn't afflicted like the other. (Other pair is i want to believe 👽).

I love these shoes the are my favorite. For me they are a little tight arounf the toe box. But with most shoes I'm sure that will change as their worn in. The colors are bright and I absolutely love them. I will be purchasing another pair from this shop for sure 100 percent satisfied 😊

These are basically my favorite shoes! I wear them almost everyday. I wear an 8-8.5 in American women's sizes and the size I ordered was perfect! I would have them in every single style if I could afford it!

So I truly want to like Hot Chocolate shoes more than I can possibly tell you. This is the third pair I've attempted. The first 2 pair were Mary Janes. First in Mary Janes I got my size and I swam in them so I sized down and it was like Cinderella's step sister's trying to cram their feet into a glass slipper. After reading reviews many of which said the slip on were more true to size I decided to go for it again. I opened the box and that was the first mistake. I'm not sure where this shoes were stored but it was the most foul odor ever. Ok- I can air them out. I put them on and again I'm swimming in them. Like they look like freaking clown shoes. Really? REALLY???? I'm just so over Hot Chocolate. It's too bad that they can't figure out sizing because they have an amazingly wonderful product but I'm not going to waste money so I can look like I'm wearing my moms shoes or that I'm in denial about what size I wear and just jam my foot in.

So there are a few pros and cons when receiving the shoes I ordered. I love the print, have never found or seen any shoes like them so I love having something unique. Although the material is already tearing at the top front part of the shoe without even wearing them so not sure how’s they’re going to hold up, also they fit very big. They’re too big and I have to stuff tissue in the toe to make them snug so I can walk properly. I’d rather do that then return them, too much of a hassle. So when ordering I would advise to order a size down as the shoes fits very wide. I was afraid of doing that in case they were to small and gave me blisters. But in hindsight I wish I would have. I’m happy with my new shoes and would definitely order again, but next time a size down for sure.

Ich habe durch meine Erkrankung leider häufig dicke Füße und passe somit nicht in jeden Schuh. Das ist bei diesen Ballerina total anders. Mein Fuß passt genau hinein und ist auch angenehm zu Tragen. Nebenbei, die Gestaltung ist einfach Klasse. Die Lieferung erfolgte total schnell, dafür das die Schuhe aus den USA kommen. Die Verpackung war einfach Klasse, in einer gestalteten Milchtüte. Die Zollgebühren und andere Steuern hat Amazon bereits berechnet, so das dort nichts anfiel. Der Preis ist ein wenig happig aber das sind original Schuhe von Hot Chocolate Design, die sind auf deren Verkaufsseite auch nicht wirklich günstiger. Ich finde Preis Leistung stimmen schon irgendwie. Schuhe sind halt so eine Sache wenn man die passenden finden möchte.

2 stars because the shoes look great. My wife loved them, however, they fit 1 size to small. I ordered them for an anniversary gift for my wife beginning of September, our anniversary is end of October. I had to give them to her early because I noticed how small the return window was for them, they fit to small and even though she tried them on for 5 minutes, the extremely short return window has passed and I am now stuck with wicked shoes that don't fit. - 3 stars because it makes no sense why there is such a small return window.If you are buying shoes from this company, make sure you order at least 1 size up and give them to the person immediately, so you don't get screwed over like I did.
