Customer Care & Otherwise Fine Quality Make Up for Questionable Durability of Reflective Stripes
I work into the night amid city traffic, so visibility is essential, and this should do the trick! Am likely to need to replace it at some point, since the reflective material is painted or adhered to the nylon rather than being a fiber in it's own right, adding just enough thickness to scuff at my overly tight watch pins, no matter how carefully I nudged it through. Also, the amount of pressure on those pins makes it essential to use the 2nd flap, though alas there's no 2nd cinch ring at the end to make sure there's no additional tugging against them. I knew this going in though, and ordered an additional set of rings to add one on.Packaging was great, and the gratis extra strap (dark blue-red-blue stripes) was a nice touch, even if it never matches another watch, but who knows? If the 22mm version is ever restocked, I'll prob'ly pick up another of these reflective faux Bond straps, especially when it gets all 5 rings, though again I'd expect the reflective material to eventually separate and maybe peel off at the cinch point. I'm increasingly surprised how few people, let alone vendors, understand that cinching the 2nd flap is the only proper way to secure a watch, which is the whole original point to these NATO/Zulu type bands, making 5 rings (4 rings + buckle) crucial; so this band of otherwise excellent fabric & hardware will no doubt please most. It definitely feels loads better than the original rubber/resin strap and likely won't break apart from repeated hot, soapy showers!

At $12: a good value for a solid NATO strap
NATO-style straps in general: NATO straps are very comfortable and secure, and they're perfect for divers' watches because they can accommodate extra width (to accommodate a thick wet-suit), while the extra material folds neatly away when not needed. NATOs are also perfect for military/field use (for which they were originally designed). This brand: the quality of this NATO strap is on par with Dievas straps you can order from Gnomon watches. With international shipping, you'll pay approximately $25 for a Dievas strap, so this strap from Clockwork Synergy is a better value. Both straps share the same weakness: the holes through which the buckle is routed fray easily, giving the straps about a 3-6 month life-span if worn every day (will vary depending on how much you wear it and how much fraying you're willing to experience before replacing it). You can extend that life-span a little by using a match to cauterize the hole now and then. I have found one company (The Strap Shop, UK, or TSS) that heat seals the holes really, really well and produces a NATO strap that lasts a whole lot longer. TSS straps cost about $25 including shipping, and because they last so long, they're very much worth it. However, unlike Clockwork Synergy and Dievas, TSS does not offer a very wide variety of colors.Bottom Line: Lower quality than the best straps on the market, but the low price and the wide variety of colors may make these straps from Clockwork Synergy a good buy.

Nicest NATO strap I've had.
Very glad I took a chance on this strap. Had never heard of Clockwork Synergy, but the red "racing-style" stripes on the black band really caught my eye. Have only had it a couple days, but it is very nicely made. The stripe is a slightly less-vibrant red than what I saw on my computer, and to me that's a positive. It stands out against the black strap and is obviously red without being garish. Also have a Maratec Bond NATO and a couple "generic" NATOs that were supposedly made in Switzerland. The Clockwork Synergy strap is very slightly stiffer than the others, but it's just as comfortable to wear and appears to be better made. I think the stiffness might be related to the very tightly woven material which looks like it should hold up very well to daily wear. The PVD hardware looks excellent with a consistent satin black finish. The clasp holes and end of the strap are heat sealed. To me it's a great looking strap and seems well made at a fair price. Highly recommended. The strap in not marked stating the country where it was made. Will update this review if anything changes.

Good Strap
EDIT - Photo in the ad has been updated. Now correct! Still a great strap.Strap is as expected from a size/quality perspective. The PVD hardware is OK, but not lavish, and is typical of most NATO straps. From a functional standpoint the strap is right on target. But, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that the strap I received is not the same as pictured. Mine is missing the interior thin stripes in dark blue, so the light blue stripes butt up against the orange center stripe. The light blue stripes are also narrower than in the version pictured in the ad. Thematically we're still talking about the same strap, but just be warned that the pattern and look is a bit different.I still like the way it looks, as I think what was delivered is a touch more understated and more of a daily wear strap.

Great Strap Colors, Stamped Sheet Metal Hardware
I really like the strap colors offered by Clockwork Synergy. They offer color combinations for their NATO straps that aren’t offered by other vendors. Hardware is not as robust as hardware on other NATOs that I’ve purchased. I prefer round hardware not the stamped sheet metal on the Clockwork Synergy straps.

Good quality for the price.
Nice strap. I got tired of leather band and divided to give it a try. So food so far. I put it on and in 10 min almost as comfortable as leather band. The only issue I had was it is too thick(or the space between case and spring bar may be small too) and it may bend the spring bars.Love it and I recommend it.Wearing it on the Nighthawk.

Nice strap
I love NATOs and I've bought them from several different places over the years. This NATO feels pretty much the same as the others, which is to say it's fine. The price was nice and the shipping was fast. I bought this particular NATO for the color (black and bronze) and the black hardware. The bronze is sort of a "burnt orange" color that matches the color on my Citizen Skyhawk (see photo). The hardware is sewn into place rather than melted, which is a plus for me. The black coating has not rubbed off yet.
