These are perhaps the most comfortable boots I own. I wear western style boots almost daily as they are extremely practical and versatile. While I love all of my boots, I was tired of the leather being damaged by the rain and snow so I started the hunt for some water resistant boots. These boots have exceeded my expectations! I received them today in the midst of a sudden snowstorm and was able to put them to good use right away. Despite running around in the yard in the snow and wet grass with my dogs the They are extremely comfortable, have great traction, look nice and most importantly are water resistant. Are they expensive? That depends on your concept of expense when it comes to shoes. For my needs and wants I feel like the price is more than fair. I needed a sturdy, water resistant boot and I wanted one that was stylish and comfortable.The shipping was prompt. The boots were delivered in an Ariat box with all of the regular paperwork and tags you would find in a box from a shoe store. The Ariat box was wrapped in a typical plastic enveloping wrapping and was quite easy to open.I have attached a photo of what the boots look like in person. The coloring is a bit different than what you see on the website, however they are still quite attractive!

I love Ariat boots and am loyal to the brand. This is a super cute chelsea boot, while being a sturdy workhorse of a boot. I can wear it outside to do yard work, walking on a rainy day, hiking with the dog on trails or at the beach, and they clean up beautifully to wear out for a day of shopping or out to dinner.Fit is true to size. Not too narrow, toes not pinched in toe box. Virtually no break-in needed. I'm still getting used to where the top of the boot hits my ankle. So far socks are helping with that.

I bought these boots for a 2-week winter trip to Europe, and thank Dolly Parton I did! They are comfortable, totally water proof, have excellent lugged soles, and kept my feet surprisingly warm. I wore them every single day of the trip, netting between 10-25k steps in 25-35' F weather, often on icy and snowy sidewalks, including walking up to and down from Neuschwanstein Castle... in a blizzard. In short, these boots were a lifesaver.After reading some of the more critical reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by how supple and cushy the boots were. Even so, I did make an effort to break the boots in before my trip by wearing them on my daily walks of 2-3 miles. I'm very glad I did that, as it helped me understand how the boots work with my feet and also loosened up the leather a bit. While on the trip, I always made sure to put blister bandaids on my pinky toes (most shoes rub on my outer toes, not just these) and a couple of jumbo bandaids around my ankles where the tops of the boots hit. After that, I was good to go.I must have tried 10-15 pairs of boots before my trip. These blew every single other pair out of the water.

I wanted to try these boots before buying but no local stores carried them. Decided just to buy from Amazon in case I had to return. They fit perfectly and even though have a high arch and some foot issues, they are very comfortable even if I wear them all day.

I normally wear a 6.5 for dress shoes/boots. Sometimes I go up a half size since my feets are a bit wide around toe. I got the 6.5 of these boots. The length is fine but they are a bit too narrow for me. I thought about going up a half size, but since the 6.5 already makes my feet big, I didn't. Also, the shaft is a bit too high. It hits my shin every step I make. It looks like a high quality shoe, but unfortunately, it didn't work for me.

I bought these shoes 2 months ago wanting a shoe I could wear to work, and stomp through all of the snow and slush to get there. Since, I have worn these almost every day, they've survived blizzards and a trip through Germany, and have seen a lot of miles, and are holding up incredibly.I would suggest considering an insert, as the support for these shoes is fairly flat, but I haven't been using one, and have been fine. I do feel it in my arches after walking for a long time in them.The waterproofing on these boots is insane, I almost purposefully step in puddles while wearing them, because I feel so powerful. They also don't feel quite as unbreathable as most rainboots, leaving my feet dry and comfortable

These boots are a definite must have! They are not only beautiful, but they are so well-made. They are very comfortable right out of the box too! Love them!

These boots are so amazing, they look fab whether wearing smart or day to day.I use them for everyday and this includes doing the horses etc, they clean up amazing too so look smart when you need them too.They also saved my foot on Boxing Day a horse of ours collapsed into me falling while sliding with his foot on mine! My boot did take a scrape and has marked but if I didn’t have these on I think my foot would have been significantly damaged, the bruising to my leg was quite bad considering this happened Boxing Day my leg is still bruised , these boots are perfect and I really do recommend !!
