I bought this nice product last year (2025) on great Indian festival sale. It cooks red meat and dal very fast. I am so happy with this product. My aged parents however dislike the cooker because it's very heavy and lid is difficult to open.

Received the cooker in manufacturers' packing without any tamper. All the accessories are available. No damages anywhere.This was a replacement sent for an earlier order, which was received without the weight (whistle maker) in the box. It looked like the package is returned & repacked and sent with missing accessories.Thanks to The seller and Amazon, they addressed the problem and solved it immediately.A request for returners, please ensure all the bits and pieces are inside the box while returning. It'll be great for everybody.

This cooker looks solid, sturdy, and well-made. I have been using Hawkins pressure cookers for more than three decades, and this is the first time I have experienced a serious problem with a Hawkins model.I bought two cookers — one 3-litre and one 2-litre. Unfortunately, both cookers developed the same issue: the safety valve burst, even when the flame was low and all the necessary safety precautions were being followed.What concerns me most is how the same issue could occur with both cookers. Unfortunately, by the time this happened, I was past the return window.I contacted Amazon Customer Care, who referred me to the manufacturer. The manufacturer, however, attributed the problem to improper use and stated that this would happen if the safety procedures were not followed. This does not explain how the same problem occurred with both cookers when I have been using pressure cookers safely for decades.I have still not received a resolution from either Amazon or the manufacturer. Amazon Customer Care has repeatedly told me that I would receive a response within 24 hours. It has now been more than two weeks.I am therefore left with two cookers that I cannot use with confidence, with neither the manufacturer nor Amazon acknowledging or resolving the issue. These are not inexpensive products, and one of the reasons people choose Hawkins is because of its reputation for quality and safety.I am extremely disappointed with this experience. If you are considering buying this model, I would strongly recommend looking carefully at the safety concerns and the customer support experience before making your decision.

Estoy muy satisfecho. Por cuestión de espacio no quería una olla más grande y esta cubrió mis necesidades de manera excelente. Es sólida y con buenos acabados. Hice algo de desorden en la cocina al usarla por primera vez, pero nunca antes había usado una olla de presión de ninguna marca, tamaño ni tipo. El instructivo fue muy útil, aunque mi falta de experiencia hizo todo algo más difícil. La primera comida que cociné (lentejas) resultó excelente y en muy poco tiempo. Recomiendo ampliamente.

A panela é boa, no entanto, util para cozinhar uma quantidade pequena de alimentos, devido ao seu tamanho. O material é bom, mas ela é muito barulhenta. Quando pega pressão, dá uns disparos, faz uns barulhos altos. Demorei bastante para me acostumar com os barulhos sem me assustar. O manual de uso também veio em inglês, o que atrapalha bastante para ler as instruções de como usa-la corretamente.
