I'm an arborist, i climb trees and cut them down. Ive dropped these from all different heights, stepped on them, sat on them (alot), and had my eyes and face saved many times because of them. The lenses sit far enough away and breath well so i don't fog up. The frames have metal inside the middle of them so you can bend them, back to the original form if needed, or take the time to have the perfect curve for your ear shape. The are very comfortable and are unrivaled by the dozens of other safety glasses i have tried.

**Q: Que valor tiene por docena ?**

**Q: Are the side shields also tinted green**
A: No, side shields are clear, only intended as peripheral protection

**Q: Can you remove side shields?**
A: They are held in with some small rivets. They can be removed, but if you want them gone you really should just buy a different sort of glasses. I like the style, but the side shields are meant to stay there.

**Q: How do they compare to didymium?**
A: These work well in the hot shop working in front of a furnace, but I'm not sure how effective they would be with a torch, lampworking.  I believe didymium is used for a reason, as expensive as they may be.  I'm not well enough informed on the subject.  But protect your eyes, whatever the cost.
