i rated it 5 stars cause it has a solid case which allows to carry it without getting broke and other things...The way I use it is highlight common words one color and more technical words in others, so to search more quickly.i would recommend this for people with previous knowledge of the language that are looking forward to keep their vocabulary fresh.

This dictionary is a very small pocket dictionary with Swedish in the first half, English in the second. Oftentimes Swedes will combine several words to form a new one ('leaf tunnel', 'moon road', etc) and in these cases, you must be savvy enough to know where to split the word and look up its parts. That's one thing. The big piece that's missing for me is knowing whether a noun is an 'ett' word or an 'en' word. This is crucial information when making a definite out of the noun (an apple - en äpple vs the apple - äpplet).It would also be nice to include the plural forms.

I swear by BERLITZ. I speak the native tongue in each country with my Berlitz book in hand. The CD's are great too.

This dictionary is very good to carry while traveling or just to carry in your bag to study while you're waiting in line for something or for an appointment as it is very small and lightweight.

This guidebook is much smaller than I expected and the print is almost impossible to read. I did not even take it with me when I went to Sweden this past August.Unfortunately, I waited too long to try and return it. Not recommended.

Very honest dictionary if you have limited space in you backpack/bag. I use to study Swedish in the lunch break, so it wouldn't be possible/doable to bring with me a bigger dictionary due of lack of space and limited amount of studying time anyway, so this pocket-sized beauty fits very well my user case scenario, and allows me to study without being connected to Internet (and getting distracted).Please note that it lacks many common words, and it's very succint (so it may lead to confusion in some cases). For serious study sessions, be sure to have a proper, big-size dictionary at home as well :)

旅行者向けの辞書ということで、廉価でコンパクトである反面、内容的に簡単すぎるのが難。ただし、他に適当な大きさと価格の瑞日辞書がないので、その意味では重宝だと思う。
