Marvel Loki Helmet Pewter Key Ring

This thing is an amazing key accent. it's heavy duty and a little on the weighty side but it's great. It makes a very unique sound when it's jingling around with the keys and it's quite pleasant. The horns kind of get caught on stuff but not too badly. It's very well detailed and very noticeable. I carry my keys on my belt and I've had so many people ask me about it from random adults to kids who yell "Hey look that lady has Loki horns! Are you a bad guy?" it's happened quite a few times. Only complaint, the bottom points of the helmet are a bit sharp so if you're holding this in your hand you will get poked.

I never realized how big this keychain would be! It's of a sturdy metal with a hollow inside and tough enough to be used as an emergency weapon if attacked while walking to your car at night from work. Every one of my geeky coworkers loved it and demanded I tell them where I got it from!! The best! So happy I got it on a whim :) the keychain is about as big as the palm of your hand and is a little heavy, but you get used to the reassuring weight if on a lanyard around your neck that also holds your work ID tag. Very pleased with it!

This item is exactly as pictured. Built to last! It is made out of metal, NOT sliver painted plastic. My only complaint is that it is very heavy (for a key chain). Since heavy key chains can be bad for your starter, I use mine as a zipper pull on my purse. It would also look great on a backpack or gym bag. It has a clip attached as well, which I love. I attach my keys to it when I get out of my car, so I don't have to dig through my purse to find them.

I bought this thinking I could use it for its intended purpose -as a key ring, but when it came in the mail, I realized that wasn't going to happen. It's huge! It easily covers the palm of my hand, and although I have little hands, it's still big! It can definitely be used as a self-defense tool - the cheek guards could do some damage to someone. I opted to turn it into a door decoration for my office. So far I've gotten lots of comments, but only one person actually knew what it was.

The picture is deceiving. The keychain I got delivered today was a smooth helmet. The horns did not curl out from the front. While I DO like the helmet I got, it is not what I wanted. Loki's helm must have the details to be Loki's. Someone who saw it said it looked more like Magneto's helmet with horns than Loki's. Having Loki's name etched in the back doesn't make it his. Sorry. I still like it alright, but it is lost without the details. :/ Not as proud of it as I wanted to be.

After noodling with it, I found that it is not just a keychain; it's a little security item for those times where you may be nervously walking through a parking lot on a dark night. I wouldn't want to be on the business end(s) of this gadget. (Use your imagination...) But it's rock solid and it really does look great! I bought one for my wife, and I'll be purchasing a second one for myself. And it's large, making it really hard to lose your keys.. :) Love it!

Ok, I'm completely obsessed with Loki, so giving any Loki related product less then five stars is hard....however this one didn't live up to anywhere close to expectation. It is flat, the helmet aspect is almost nothing, if you took off the horns it ends up looking like a face mask for an alien with an oval shaped head, plus, it is far to big to put on a key ring it is just......flat......I don't know how else to say that, let's just say if you put a paper over it and went looking for it later the paper would have almost no indication that it is under it, however, if your obsessed like me, your going to ignore the bad reviews and get it anyway. Just don't get your expectation to high.

I truly like this because it looks like some true effort was put into the quality, design and craftsmanship. I am glad Marvel has finally decided to acknowledge there IS a Loki fanbase out there and yes, we'd like to see merchandise featuring that character! The price is nice, it has a good weight to it, has a wonderful brushed pewter finish and it's a great representation of the helmet Loki is known for. My only complaint is that it's NOT available in GOLD! (hey, if I'm wrong, let me know!)
