Seal Mate is not a gimmick.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was searching on the internet about front shock oil leak on my 2014 Honda CRF250L. The man from Seal Mate video said this is all that you probably need fix your oil leak. Boy was he right. Just followed the video tutorial and followed the instructions. Perfect it worked. Now did I get lucky. I don't know - but my bike hasn't been abused - heck for 11 years old it still looks brand new. But it work - no more oil seepage from the oil seal.

It worked!
I had a leaky fork seal and the Seal Mate solved the problem. I ran it under the seal twice. I then took the bike for a 20 mile ride with some pretty bumpy roads. No fork oil leaked at all. I felt the fork and under the seal and there is no oil residue at all.It is kind of flimsy, but I guess thatโs necessary to easily get it under the seal. Keep some clean rags handy as some oil will come out while using the Seal Mate. Best 10 dollars I spent in years.

DO NOT BUY THIS TOOL!
First off this thin little piece of plastic cost me A whopping ten dollars, which made me think maybe it came in a ten pack or something, but no it is 10 bucks for just one of these flimsy tools and when I tried to use it, it would just bend instead of going into the seal like its supposed to. I would reccomend just using a milk jug or something that is not so flimsy so you dont waste your money like I did.

Way overpriced, but it worked for me.
I have a relatively new 2019 street bike with 16,000 miles on it. One of the forks just started leaking for no reason. I tried this tool and it did resolve the issue. However, this is just a flimsy piece of plastic and it is way overpriced.
