I've read the reviews for these types of mounts, and most of them talk about the mount being too loose on the rail. I went with this company because everyone said it was tighter. What I didn't realize was that it'd be too tight.When I tried to slide this onto the 1913 rail on my AR I could only get it halfway on before it bound up so tight it got stuck. I could probably whack it down with a punch and hammer, but why would I want to do that?The set screw is completely removed, so I know that's not the issue. I guess I'll take a file to it to see if I can loosen the fit a tiny bit.I have a cheap quad rail, and that might be the problem, but the GoPro also took extra pressure to lock in, so I'm thinking they went just a tiny bit too tight overall.I also tried it on the rail of a Glock 23 3rd Gen, and it was tight, but I could get it on. I'm giving it three stars because it may be my rail that's the problem, but just be aware incase you buy one.

After researching and reading a lot of reviews about some of these not types of mounts not fitting picatinny rails, I decided to give this one by LCtech a try. The mount is made of light weight aluminum and is machined / finished flawlessly. The picatinny side fits on the rail as tight as any of my high dollar accessories and locks down via an allen screw with rubber bumper to protect finish. The camera side accepts the GoPro quick release buckle mount from either direction. This means if you want to point the camera to target, then switch to film the shooter, you just have to flip the quick release buckle around- not unscrew the cantilever mount. I checked fit and camera clearance on 5 different weapons (as pictured are a SCAR17S and Colt M4)- no problems on any weapon test fits.The only aspect I would point out to be cautious about is attaching the quick release buckle. On GP factory mounts, the buckle audibly snaps in. With this cantilever picatinny mount, you have to push the buckle in pretty hard until you see the finger releases engage and lock.

Fits on moe rail section perfectly and tight. Some people complained that after sliding on and attaching the go pro attachment it is loose which is true.. I've found that a few pieces of electric tape stuck on the bottom section allows just enough to fill the gap to make it a solid and tight fit. Mind you I haven't tested it out yet but it seems very sturdy and holds solid on my AR. I'll give additional feedback in a few days after I test it out at the range.

This is going to be fun! Nice tight fit using GoPro mount and actually attached another mount to the bottom of the plate so I can run a front view and selfie view while shooting. Bought a Monstrum Tactical Low Profile Picatinny Riser Mount (0.5" H x 1.5" L) and then attached the gun rail to the riser and it becomes a much quicker way of mounting to my lower rail. Very happy with the quality of this item and it is also a great fit on my handgun rail. Did a little research and this was the lowest price out there. Most were around the 25.00 mark. Thumbs way up on this item!

First off, I spent a lot of time looking for one of these mounts. So many had bad reviews and I wanted to save myself from the hassle of having to return the item for it being defective or just straight up useless. It mounted perfectly on my Midwest Industries Rail. The GoPro snapped in and had no movement whatsoever. Even though I bought this for my AR, I wanted to see if it can hold its own on my 870 while shooting 00 Buck. Held like a Champ. This Side Mount worked for me perfectly. I highly recommend this one. Plus it arrived sooner than stated which is always a plus!!!

This rail mount works as advertised. Would have given it a 5 except it is just a bit weak for use other than staged or controlled circumstances. Field use of this mount would likely reveal some weaknesses. Haven't taken it to that level yet.

Works about 70 % of the time. If you shoot too many rounds in quick succession your go pro falls off. Something about the fitting not being an exact fit.

So far this product seems to be very well constructed and it is not wobbly at all. I haven't had a chance to take it out shooting yet so I will update this review once I put it to use! Only minor thing I will point out is you have to put a lot of pressure on the GoPro plastic mount to get it to click into place.

I am very satisfied with the product, it corresponds to the order and to what the seller presents, good material and with quality. In short I am quite satisfied and recommend .... I have already made great filming.From Lisbon, Portugal.

A bit loose on the rail until grub screw tightened considerably. Other than that its ok.

Die Montage lässt sich leicht anbringen und hält die Kamera an ihrer Position. Leider kann ich sie nicht oben an der RIS Schiene befestigen, da das Iron Sight das Aufschieben verhindert. Dennoch bietet die Schiene eine gute Grundlage für gute Aufnahmen.Auf dem Airsoftfeld hat sie sich aber bewährt und kommt nächstes mal wieder mit!
