I went through a bunch of cheap food thermometers before eventually just buying a thermapen. It works great, very fast readings and just feels very solid. Highly recommended.

Don’t comment often but long term BBQ-er. Had Bluetooth devices but get back to basics, this is better. Check multiple places along the way - acutely.

I already own one of these so the second is a back up. Seems very reliable and easy to use. Ok if you're happy to work in centigrade only.

Don't get me wrong - this is a good product. But.The purchased item was delivered faulty out of the box.I sent the item for a repair. The repair was free, no issues there and I have to give my appreciation to the company for their service. Then, the item was sent back (item I own, after a service which is totally free of charge) and I was charged total of 36.87 of additional taxes and duties (after I already paid taxes and duties on this item when first purchased).So, overall, this item cost me about 2x as much as it should. I would not recommend this item to my friend, just based on the experience with this purchase (even though I admit that this is a good product).
