Love Is Never Painless: Three Novellas

What I loved most about Zane's 'Love Is Never Painless ' is that it was an out of the ordinary tale about love and just how painful AND painless love should (by many standards) and should not be. This was a great read for me as it gave me some material to ponder. I also enjoyed the fact that the novella introduced me to other authors that I have since became a fan of after reading this book. Zane is an author that doesn't disappoint.

I love Zanes' books. I honestly don't like novellas, they're not long enough for me.

So after seeing all the positive reviews on this book, I decided what the heck let me see what all the hype is about. I should of just went with my instincts and purchased something else because this book was simply disappointing. First I would like to start off with the first story: IT SUCKED!! The story never really progressed, it was all over the place and some parts of the book didn't make sense. For example, when that tramp jamellah clearly stated in the first few pages of the story that she didn't care for a serious relationship, just someone to use to get where she needed to be and then all of a sudden she yearns for a relationship and a family? Where did that come from? I found myself skipping her boring pathetic story and just reading her friend's Fern which was a little better. The second story was ok, had me interested in some points then was right back at being bored and Zane story was the best even though some parts had me put the book down because I was once again bored. Save yourself the time and money spent of this book because you will be very disappointed as much I was. Oh yeah major fan of Zane since addicted and nervous but this was just crap

I am partial to ZANES work since she is my favorite author so when I saw that this was a compilation of fellow colleagues I was a bit apprehensive. Boy was I presently surprised. The first story was actually written by an aquaintance (unbeknowst to me that she was even an author) and it was great!!! The other 2 stories were wonderful as well. I feel that this is a must read for any man or woman as they both can relate to one or more of the situations presented.

I love all of Zane's books. I am only half way through the book and I can't put this book down.

I didn't know it contained three stories which is obvious it says three novellas lol. It was good for my first Zane book. Any recommendations ! enjoyed it. A lot. Not as much sex as I thought not that it mattered. That's what I expected from Zane. 4 stars

Awesome read. Another page turner. I was up for hours reading. I just couldn't put it down. This book is relatable in so many ways which is why I enjoyed it so much.

This is a fantastic book. I chose it as I am a fan of Zane's previous books. She never fails to deliver a thought provoking story & the same can be said about the other two stories.Great perspectives on love which really gets you thinking & unable to put the book down.I'll definitely be looking out for other books by the authors of this one.

All I can say is BUY this Book you will not be left dissapointed!!To all Zane fans this book is a must have to the collection!! X
