CarboPro INTERPHASE Premium Protein Powder, French Vanilla 2.64 lbs

My husband and I have been using this product for years (in both recovery and pre-work out shakes) and have recommended it to friends, fellow athletes and, in my husband's case, patients. Our continued use and recommendation had been due to the product's superior quality in terms of nutritional content, delicious flavor and consistency when blended. Recently, however, it seems the product has been re-branded and, perhaps, is now being manufactured by a different company. We are extremely disappointed with the product - especially the vanilla - and find it far inferior to its prior iteration. The taste and smell is artificial and the consistency isn't what it used to be. We attempted to "stock up" on the older iteration, believing that the photos displayed on Amazon were reflective of the product we'd receive. Alas, they were not, and we are now flush with the new, inferior product that I doubt we'll use. We certainly won't be recommending it to anyone else. Can someone tell us what happened? If the product is, in fact, being manufactured by a different company or in a different way or using different (cheaper) ingredients, the company's executive suite ought to know that losing long-time customers and proponents of a product is not a good business strategy.

I got hooked on this mix about four years ago when I was really biking a lot. I had a bad wreck a year and a half ago and haven't been riding as much but my body still craves this stuff. I use it now for meal replacement and for a late night treat when the rest of the family is having ice cream and it cuts down on my cravings and I believe that helps me drop weight.

CarboPro has changed the Interphase formula and it is awful. I loved the old formula-mixed it in yogurt or milk and it was delicious. The new stuff has a chemical taste that is just terrible. I thought they had only changed the packaging, but indeed, it is the formula, too. And there are more calories in the new formula than the old. Just don't buy it! Yuck!

As a marathon runner in Texas, I need quality hydration, and recovery products. Over time I have tried a lot of products but none work as good as Interphase combined with Carbo Pro Hydra C5 and Meta Salt Capsules. Tastes good, mixes easly in a shaker bottle and really works great. Take it at bedtime before a long run (over 1hr) and again as a recovery drink.

The taste is one of the best I 've tried. The nutritional content is exceptional, specially the the amount of protein (34g) per serving, for vegetarians is an excellent source. It also regulates the GI system. Try mixing one portion of Interphase (diluted in water), 1/2frozen banana and 1 tsp of peanut butter....MMM...love at first taste!

Even better product than before! I modified my review after speaking with a representative of the company - they have made a lot of improvements to the quality, and the slight change in taste is a side effect. They removed the artificial sweeteners, which accounts for the change.

The new version of this protein powder is just THE WORST!!!! They changed the formula (in 2015) and not only does it have more calories it is just the most disgusting tasting protein. I am so disappointed because the old version was my go to protein. It is so sad!
