Great part of my '65 Bassman recap
The sound on my 1965 Fender Bassman was crackling and muddy. After a little research, I figured it was time for a recap job.I ordered the following to do the recap:3 of: Sprague Atom Guitar Amp Capacitor, 20uF - 500V1 of: Sprague Atom Guitar Amp Capacitor, 8uF - 450V2 of: Sprague Atom Guitar Amp Capacitor, 100uF - 350V1 of: Sprague Atom Guitar Amp Capacitor, 100uF - 100V5 of: Sprague Atom Guitar Amp Capacitor, 25uF - 25VThis is the preffered brand of capacitors for the job and it was a lot cheaper than the kits offered around the web. I found sufficient instructions for most of the job. I did get a little stuck on where all of the 25uF caps went. After considerable web searching I found that 4 of the 5 25uF caps replace two original "double" caps (2 caps built into one) labeled 50uF.The amp sounds awesome again.

Very happy with this company!
Great price! If you are a do it yourself tech or you are having a tech repair your amplifiers or other electronics, you can't beat the prices. I find that if I let my amp tech replace caps they will generally at least double the prices I paid here, if not more. Most good techs will let you bring your own parts for them to install. It's a definite money saver. These folks also ship very quickly and are most efficient. Will use again!

Reliable capacitors for tube amps
I use these when refurbishing older Fender tube amps. My latest order will go in a '67 Fender Deluxe Reverb. Never had an issue with these. Observe proper polarity and be safe!

Great Caps
I'm using these in a vintage phono amp to guitar amp conversion. Great quality caps with nice long leads for soldering.
