Does anyone know if the sheath issue has been resolved? Reviews are great for the knife but absolute garbage for the sheath, pointless buy if not.

There is a hard plastic insert inside the sheath. Can't say as if it completely addresses the problem, since I do not use it. I made my own sheath.

I used this on whitetail deer hide and it works fine no problems so far

How long is the handle?

3" - total length is 6 3/4". The forefinger goes thru the finger hole and the rest of your fingers wrap around the handle. Good fit and perfect leverage.

How wide, long and deep is the blade?

The blade is 1 7/8" wide & 3 1/2" long from tip to tail. Overall length is 6 3/4". I have only skinned 2 hogs with it but the forefinger hole is awesome for grip and saving wear & tear on the wrist.

I am happy with this knife for the price. Great knife for the price

Great knife, badly designed sheath

Pros: Knife is compact but big enough to do the job. Fits comfortably in my large hands. Very sharp right out of the box.Cons: The strap to secure the knife in the sheath is positioned very poorly. The gutting hook is sharp enough that I cut the strap almost completely off the first time I took it out. A design improvement is needed there.
