Very nice set of 3/8 metric socket set. These sockets came on a socket rail. I changed over to a magnet to hold the sockets. I would recommend these to any pro mechanic. Quality tool and cheaper than the tool trucks that visit your shop.

Very nice quality AMERICAN MADE sockets. Came on two socket rails that are very sturdy and hold the sockets on well. The size is stamped into the socket - not painted on or etched - so they should be easy to read for a long time to come.The box these came in is marked Made In USA. Each of the individual sockets is also marked USA. I purchased my set in January 2021 (production date of sockets was 10.2020 according to box).

Nice Made in USA sockets from Snap-On Industrial. If a Williams part number has both letters and numbers in it the item is from their domestic line. All numbers in the part number it's an import. For the people that that matters to.The sizes could be easier to read on the sockets. I took a paint pen, dobbed it on, wiped it off to highlight the numbers. I also need glasses so may not be an issue for everyone.I expect these sockets to last the rest of my life.

By trade, im a professional transit Bus mechanic. i primarily use snap on, mac, matco and any other non chinese tool at work, like german made knipex. was looking for a quality set of impact sockets for the house. i have this IDENTICAL set from snap on ($275.00), and use them daily. when i found out these were made from the same companies, i jumped on it. now their is a slight difference from the snap ons. but for home use, heck even to use as a professional mechanic these are as good.1. snap on has better packaging (sockets come in a neat plastic tray with magnet holder) williams came in a cardboard box, but it did have the sockets on a rail2. snap on has easier socket identification (numbers are larger) williams print of the socket size is very small

23 MM is an odd size socket. Auto part store sells 22 and 24 but lacks 23mm. Same thing wiht the big box stores (I checked the orange and blue stores).I wanted the deep socket so that it would use the entire turning surface of my lug nuts but the hexagonal hole, on this "deep" socket is the same depth as my regular 23mm socket but it does have a round hole that can potentially fit a bolt but the circular hole is not big enough for the top of my Acorn Lug nuts.

This is indeed a deep socket but it is not cut all the way down . it only works for shallow lug nuts . thats a good and a bad thing. the good thing is a shallow lug fits nice and snug. A deep lug will get marred halfway down on the nut from the socket not being cut all the way. The only advantage this deep socket has is for an actual threaded stud that's protruding from a nut.

These sockets are beautiful .They indeed are snap on with a William's stamp instead .I will be buying more American made William's tools .Great value .Thanks

My new Toyota was showing sign of leak at oil pressure sensor.I purchased this socket to torque it to factory specs.It fit perfectly and finished the Job in five minutes.

Thin wall works good on various vehicles

A socket so nice, I bought it twice. Lost the first one, no hesitation ordering another one.

Great value. The hex shape needs to be deeper though... hexagonal transitions to round shape mid-way an doesn't fully seat on certain fasteners.

Took a little homework since amazon's product profile on JH Williams products aren't always correct. Found this out by ordering a few sets having to send some back. These impact sets are for those who like to buy once but also at the best bang for buck. Made in USA subsidiary of Snap-On. Life time warranty. Engraved sizing although small. No fancy case or holder; just comes in grease stained cardboard box on cheap steel rail with inspectors card.
