Beaphar Spray Away Plus, 400ml

My dog is well over 16 now and sometimes has a little 'accident'. I have used all sorts of 'specialist' cleaners before, but there was always an unpleasant odour remaining even after I had cleaned up. I saw this on Amazon, and after reading the reviews I thought I'd buy some. I have to say, I'm very impressed! When my dog wets, the smell is very strong, but as soon as I sprayed this, the smell vanished immediately. I quite liked the smell of the product, which isn't too strong, and I didn't choke on it as I have done with other cleaners. What impressed me even further, was that although I didn't use much at all, just 2 or 3 sprays, after mopping up, and after the patch had dried, there was no tell-tale tide mark left on the carpet, as was usually the case with previous cleaners, no matter how much I scrubbed and mopped. I bought this specifically for use with my dog, but it's also great with other spills too. Coffee and tea spills disappeared like magic! Very effective product, very happy customer!

As other reviewers more eloquent than me have said, this stay works very well in eliminating, not just masking, pet accidents. But please READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! I read them briefly and opened one window ajar before spraying, but this wasn't enough ventilation. Within a few minutes of spraying it had triggered an asthma attack. I couldn't breathe. All the home doors and windows were flung open by hubby, and after lots of inhaler puffs and an hour or so of fresh air, the attack subsided. It was my own fault for not taking the instructions more seriously. So, you MUST cover the sprayed area with a damp cloth straight away to trap the product underneath, and you MUST well ventilate the area during use. Maybe for extra security, keep any asthmatic children away from the area while cleaning. I will still be using this again because it really does work well.

Dogs and cats were still scratching after using this, more of a preventative than a cure, had to get other treatment from vet.

Coconut scent may be pleasant on the beach, but not when you're trying to get rid of the cat urine smell. I used to really like the old product, but the new formula (the smell!!!) seems to make the cat odour worse. Unfortunately, the photo featured on Amazon is of the old formula, so it's misleading. Beware.

This addresses accidents, like the cat being sick on the carpet, immediately and efficiently. The spray does not over wet the area to be cleaned, leaves no unpleasant or over sweet smell and everything is lifted immediately leaving no stain. I love this product and recommend it to all pet owners for removing ‘accidents’.
