Microgreens: Intense Hydroponic Grows Paperback – May 6, 2019

I would like to say Brents book is awesome. I had the chance to get into microgreens 5+ years ago in the northwest learning to grow originally in soil with some of the big names and originators of microgreens. Bents book and method brought my micorgreens growing to a whole new level with massive grows compared to the soil and other methods I had been doing. I will say this. Brent's writing style appears not to be for some it is laced with some humor and is simple in its approach. Sadly some can not follow the KISS (keep it simple stupid) route they want to make the easy difficult and the difficult impossible. Even knowing what I knew previous to getting Brent's book I read it cover to cover 3 times and then made my list of new equipment to get and have not looked back to soil since. The yield on your grows are easily 2-4 times greater vs soil. So if you are thinking about getting Brent's book don't think any longer do.Thanks Brent for all the work you put into your book and the videos you have done you have honestly given the world a way to grow great microgreens in abundance that no else can match.

Pros:-Brent is a true gardening scientist, and he is giving you a huge head start on growing micro greens the easiest and most successful way possible. His loss of time and effort is your gain!-The quick start cards are excellent cheat sheets for each micro-The chapters were well organized and created a good flow of information.Cons:-Large parts of the book are written as if he were talking to you personally. Some people like that. I prefer a more refined approach, but it wasn’t bad.

If you want to grow microgreens without the cost of medium like soil, hemp and whatever else, this is where to find out what you need and how to do it.The author did a lot of testing in developing the techniques in this book. He demonstrates how he gets huge harvests. I think anyone looking to grow any large quantity of microgreens should take a look at this. The simple instructions make this useful to even a beginner like me.I would get the printed version instead of the Kindle if I ordered again.If you are interested in microgreens, get it.

(This is my wife account)I have been growing microgreens for 3 months now. I have been using soil and later coco coir, but I came across this book looking at Amazon and decided to buy it. I can tell it is very easy to understand with LOTS of information. I contacted Brent because I am curious about his IHG system and he immediately replied and guided me on the process of accessing the information available only to those who buy his book. I am ready to learn his system as I can conclude from his videos that the yield is way superior and cleaner than other methods of sowing and growing. Thank you, Brent!

The book is clear and easy to follow.The paperback version is perfect for learning. It is more than just a starter book. It is a full education on how to grow microgreens in an Intense Hydroponic Grows system. The reference section is great. I found this to be very useful. One of the best resources I've seen.Sadly, I can not recommend the Kindle version. The pages are in a fixed format so you can't adjust the font size.Brent has a great FB community group with lots of help and great conversations.

If you want to learn a great method of growing microgreens, this is for you, highly recommended.This book is not a discussion on hydroponics, it is a discussion of Brent's method of growing as is stated in the description.The additional "book only video's" and the private facebook group are excellent resources to take advantage of.My advice, follow his instructions to the T, learn the system and then tweak it to your liking. If you have a problem grow, and you have followed his instructions, it is easier for the facebook community ( if you take advantage of that resource ) to help you trouble shoot.

I had watched a bunch of the author's YouTube videos and was thrilled to find out he had a book available. A wealth of great information. I am very excited about his use of screens to grow microgreens. Seems so much more hygienic for food we will be eating. Plus far easier to feed the roots to my chickens. This is a great resource.

Glad I bought this. Not only does it provide practical hands-on knowledge it provides the resources to understand how to be a successful hydroponic grower/farmer of microgreens. It also includes access to a private Facebook Group which has been valuable in overcoming the learning curves. I recommend this to anyone whos curious about microgreens or for someone who needs a system.
