G**G
One of SF59's best albums
More polished than Silver, this is a moody mixture of grunge, shoegaze and a bit of doom, with soft singing over heavy but woozy guitars. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that Jason Martin was in a melancholy mood when he recorded the album or its bonus tracks, but you don't have to be to enjoy it. It's more that it's an album for slowing the pace. It's the perfect thing to listen to when the weather's so hot and sunny that you don't have the energy to do anything and just want to while away the hours and put life on hold for the day.
