She’d outgrown 2 airline-style crates by 6months and was not going to be comfortable crammed into the Ferplast Atlas 40 on a long road trip. It has proven to be a great choice for us. Pros: the frame is sturdy and coated metal, not plastic. It’s also easy to assemble and lightweight, so very handy to move into and out of our car boot when I need the space for groceries. Or when staying away, we’ve brought it into the hotel room or holiday cottage as her crate. She’s comfortable enough to snore away for hours in it, and it has not warped or bent. The handles are useful, because though it’s lightweight, at this size it’s awkward, especially carrying it through doors.
