ZAR 34107 United Gilsonite Oil Based Polyurethane Wood Finish, 11 Oz Can, 400-500 Sq-Ft/Gal, 11-Ounce

The can doesn't provide very much product better to by in liquid from not spray. The can didn't want to work a couple of times then would just start working...I soaked the tip in cleaner over night and blew air into it. just for the cost its great for touch ups not much more.

I needed clear poly for outdoor foot stools to go with our Adirondack chairs (the spar varnish spray can was too yellow; I needed perfectly clear), but for some bizarre reason my local hardware store only offered it in a brush-on can. I was NOT looking forward to painting each individual slat, so turned to Amazon where I was beyond pleased to discover the same product in the spray formula. The price was great, they arrived in two days, and worked like a dream!

It's hard to get a new can to start spraying. I shake it for a while and I clean the nozzles in paint thinner. Eventually it starts to spray. After it starts, the spray is very inconsistent. Sometimes it's a fine mist, sometimes it's heavy. Purchased based on good reviews, but now very disappointing. Time to try a different brand. It can't be any worse.

I use this spray lacquer on my wood carving projects. It drys fast and clear with a nice finish that shows the grain well.

I do a lot of restoration work. Many pieces of original hardware are either steel or iron. Once cleaned they require a protective coating to inhibit rust. Unpainted surfaces can be sprayed with a couple of light coats of Zar Ultra Exterior Spray Polyurethane Satin with excellent results. You get protection against rust and a soft satin finish.

Very strong and gets a 5 for that but does yellow the finish

Worked great and looks beautiful on my porch swing. I'm so glad this is in a spray can.
