Does the job
We were happy with this product, other than the fact that they are expensive consumables. Amazon definitely has the best prices, though.

Removes chlorine and bad taste
Since using these CTO carbon filters in my system, I notice a distinct, pleasant difference in the smell and taste of the water.

Not sure how to rate this product
I installed this product on a garden hose system for my plants and after 4 days I noticed the water being very slippery in my hands and having and acute bitter taste to it. I called I spring and spoke with Don who was very pleasant on the phone. I explained i am using a 4 part system with the ispring water sediment screw down filter, and a three stage 4x20 filter housing. We used a sediment filter and 2 carbon filters in my set up. Anyway his advise was to eliminate the hose feeding the unit as that might impart a chemical taste to the water etc. He insisted his units would in no way do that. So the jury is out, I will at some point fix that and see if there is a difference. A big thanks to Don for helping me and being patient with me on the phone. I was pleased with there customer service.

So Awesome That Amazon Carries These!!
The iSpring filter system these filters go to works great. After our local water treatment company closed, we had a hard time getting these filters. Had to ship them up from Georgia from a ma & pa store. Big time markup. We are back to paying what we used to pay now.

When these filters are spent you can really see the dirt they remove

Great value
Filters have been working for 2 months now. Along with other filters, it is the final "polishing " in my well water treatment. I didn't have any problems with carbon fines washing past the filters.
