VonHaus Replacement HEPA Filter

I had no idea how easy this replacement would be, or I would have bought these sooner. I just popped the old one out, dumped it in the trash, and popped the new one in. The lid is self contained, so there is no mess, and no fuss. Also a great value, as there are three in the package. I waited 9 months to change this filter. My bad. It was really dirty, but I emptied the canister every time I used it, and brushed the filter off, so it was still working well. I was just getting tired of dinking around with a filthy filter. Actually, I didn't realize the price was for three, and I'm cheap, so I kept cleaning it off. No more!!! This is great!!! I will absolutely keep these on hand!

These filters are absolutely the best. They come with a light mesh that goes around the filter and allows the dust, sand or whatever tiny particles that are picked up to stay in place. Theses filters last a long time and can even be washed! One big thing to remember...save the mesh that wraps around the filter. It needs to be removed and cleaned when you empty and clean the filter. When both are dry the mesh is supposed to go back on the filter. So keep them together. The mesh is cut in size to fit on the filter one way and has velcro to hold it in place. I really hope they never quit making these or the vacumes they fit...as they are both really good products.

The filter fit my vacuum perfectly. I had received the von haus vacuum from a friend and it had been neglected for so long. The filter needed to be changed out desperately and the entire vacuum sanitized. When using the vac, it did not suck as well; but i had expected it as the vacuum itself isn't powerful enough. After changing the filter, the vacuum did better cleaning my floors. The 3 pack was the best part of buying the filter. When i had opened the individual filters themselves, there is a velcro screen strapped around the filter. I didn't know if i was supposed to remove it or leave it. I just removed it and installed the filter. i didn't see a difference between the velcro screen on or off. Definitely don't know if it was another filter around the filter assembly. I would recommend it if you have the vacuum, to change the filter every year if not sooner.

HEPA = High Efficiency Particulate Arrestance: The HEPA filter becomes clogged quickly use. For best results, empty the dirt-collection bin before each use. Be sure to pull all the hairs and dust balls off the filter cone, a job made easier by using the silk mesh filter cover. Remove the filter cover by pulling the dark blue arrow tab, which is sealed with velcro. You can rinse the entire mesh filter cover by soaking it in warm water. Replace the wet filter cover with a dry one you can borrow from a spare HEPA filter. Now you can get to work vacuuming immediately, while the wet filter cover dries (you can use it in the filter you borrowed the dry one from.

Tips: 1) It's important to clean out the bin and rinse out the filter strap that covers the actual filter. You WILL notice significant improvement in suction if you do this. 2) Careful on hardwood floors, this things can scratch 3) only buy this if you don't have thick carpet. works great on my thin rug/carpet.

Came with 3 filters that fit the VonHaus Stick vacuum perfectly. They all came with the mesh filter wrap - which many people were questioning. I ordered these as we lost the mesh wrap that Velcro's around the filter. Very happy with quality and especially price compared to so many other "replacement" parts.

The are very useful replacement filters for my VonHaus electric vacuum stick broom. Very well designed and made so that they are easy to use a stiff brush on to clean in between uses of the vaccum. I thoroughly clean this filter in between every use of the vacuum. So far, am still using the original filter, but will change out to new filter when needed. By the way, love the VonHaus stick broom. It has great power for hardwood, tile, linoleum (et al.) flooring, but not so good on carpets. But, that's okay with me since 99% of my floors are hardwood.

Unbelievable little machine takes care of my daily clean-ups. Household of 2 adults & 2 furry pups needless to say, we needed a fast/easy way to have the house ready for unexpected guests.
