Replacement Audio Upgrade Cable for Sennheiser HD650, HD600, HD580, HD58X, HD660S, Massdrop HD6XX Headphones 1.2meters/4feet

I've only just started using the cable so can't comment on its durability, only its design and utility. The connectors fit perfectly into my Sennheiser Drop HD6xx headphones (HD650). There are L & R markers embossed on the plastic plugs. Some 3rd party cables have really big plastic plugs surrounding the connectors which might be annoying when wearing the headphones and can snag in headphone cases. These ones are tiny, smaller than the Sennheiser originals and, to my mind, an improvement. The cable is about 120cm so more practical for using with portable device and desktop amplifiers than the original. Not as good as a very long cable with traditional Hi-Fi set ups of course. The 3.5mm jack works fine with a moderately thick silicone phone case as the connector has a small bevelled step-down design. The 6.35mm adapter is a screw on type. I find this better than the push ones on as pushing the adapter in and out is what damaged my original cable! The cable itself seems fine, nicely flexible with no annoying noises from it being moved or touched or tapped. There is a decent amount of strain relief at the jack. I cannot hear any difference in sound quality or volume using this cable or the Sennheiser original. I live close to the sea and the salt air kills poor cables by corroding the copper until they become inflexible. I've bought expensive "Oxygen Free Copper" cables which corroded inside their fancy sleeving inside 2 months (!) and cheap ones with no claims made which have lasted many years. Finger crossed! I'll update this review if the cables fail in short time but at the moment I'm really happy with the product and hope to update in a year or two to say how they are still good.

Better than I expected! It was hesitating on getting the braided instead of the normal version but definitely dont regret. I really disliked the original cable from my Sennheiser HD600s - nor only it was way too long (3m), it always got tangled and it had kinks from the start. This one not only has pretty much the perfect lenght (1.2m) which lays on top of desk without excess, but also I'm really impressed with the braid. Not only is much thicker and feels more solid, but also doesn't get tangled or kins. I also really like the separation piece that attaches the braided cable to the other 2 small non braided cables. Noticed no difference in sound. Definitely worth for the money.

DO NOT BUY. Bought as a replacement cable for original one which failed after couple of years abuse by rolling chair over it again and again. Since this cable is really short and doesn't even reach the floor I thought it will last me a lifetime but just after one month of use the sound started cutting out randomly - I can temporary fix it by moving the cable.

Replaced the original cables with these as the default ones were too long and tangled too easily which was annoying.These braided ones are more durable and they don't twist as much as cables usually do.Not noticed any difference in sound quality between them so my Sennheisers signature sound still sound good.

Couldn't have asked for a better wire really! Smelt weird on the first few days, but past that it was great. Shame the right ear wire has just kicked the bucket. Definitely buying again ;)

It works and it’s inexpensive. I doubt its durability but it will do for the time being.

Nice to have a lighter, shorter cable and my ears can't hear any difference in the sound from the original Sennheiser cable

The cable simply just works, it dosnt improove or worsen the sound quality as its just a cable at the end if the day. However, from my first few hours using it i didnt realise it was there as it never got in the way like the original hd 660s cable did. I highly recomend this for anybody that really dosnt need that amount of cable you wont regret it.

Fiyatına göre beklentilerimi karşıladı. Biraz ince olması sağlamlık açısından çok güven vermiyor, ancak yeterli. Ses kalitesinde orijinal kabloya göre iyi veya kötü anlamda herhangi bir değişiklik yok. Kısa olması PC'de kullanım için avantaj sağlıyor.

NOT ONLY is the cable not 4ft/120cm long, but the stereo audio is completely broken; when using a left/right audio test on youtube, the connected headphones played audio in both ears for the single ear test, and for the double ear test, they played incredibly quiet and distorted audio. Unacceptable product to receive.

L/R plugs are not the same size as the originals
